As a proud and happy owner of a Hagstrom Super Swede Tremar, with P90 pick-ups, I recently purchased a Hagstrom Swede, from Thomann, as a companion guitar and for its twin Humbucker pups. This is a beautifully constructed guitar for the price and plays as well as any other guitar I have played costing twice as much. Ignoring all the non-scientific nonsense one reads about 'body tone' etc, the elements on this guitar (nut/bridge/pickups/frets) which actually produce the instrument's sound are very well designed, manufactured and set up to produce a great sounding guitar.

A versatile guitar!
The Hagstrom Swede is really a good guitar for a fair price. You can play with it many music styles because it has no weaknesses. For Blues or Jazz you can change the filter with the second Toogle switch. This creates a wide range of sounds which can be further modified with the various pickups. The sound is very powerful, which I like very much. The basses are taut and the highs are clear and defined.
The sustain is also very good the sound stays long without swaying. Processing and the material used are of high quality. Everything is clean processed and leaves nothing to be desired. The pickups and mechanics work well and without problems. I play Reagge and Hard Rock with her over my Marshall TSl 602 and the sound is really unbeatable. Rhythm as well as solos go with the guitar wonderfully from the hand since it is really easy to play.
The guitar is really worth all its money and has a great sound like it is for an LP guitar.
