Fantastic acoustic, not only for Rancid fans
Dan99, 12.01.2021
I have had this guitar for about 3-4 months now, here are my thoughts.

Originally I was looking for a dreadnought, but I stumbled across this accidentally and being a Rancid fan since I was a kid I realised I would have to buy it.

In my opinion it looks stunning. It has a beautiful design which really looks unique and stands out amongst acoustics. I love the colour, the rosette, the inlays, the gold hardware. The skulls and Hellcat logos might not suit your taste, but I love them.

Now, to the sound. I had wanted a dreadnought and I read some reviews which mentioned a 'thin' sound. This gave me 2nd thoughts before ordering and my initial reaction to playing it was along those lines; it seemed to be missing that deep rich sound you can get with a dreadnought. I persevered and I think it just needed playing in, to warm up, and after a short time opened up to reveal its character. The sound is lively and energetic, and while you don't quite get the 'booming' low-end of a dreadnought I've never missed that. It is certainly loud enough.

Character is what it certainly has, it doesn't look, play or feel like other acoustics I've tried. Being slightly on the smaller or more compact side I see it as a good guitar to travel with. I haven't tested this, but it feels very robust!

The electronics are really good although I hardly use them as I play at home and not on stage and don't do recording.

Some parts of production could have been better. There are some aspects of the finishing which were not great such as the truss rod cover not screwed in correctly and slightly sharp frets. The action was pretty high and the strings could and should be easily upgraded. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether these things are acceptable on a guitar made in Indonesia at this price.

Overall I love this guitar and am very attached to it. It has it's own special character that speaks to me and makes me want to pick it up, it is very easy and so much fun to play. It is unpretentious and would cover a number of tasks. If I became destitute and had to sell everything, this is the thing I would hold on to until the very last.

Bellissima Fender acustica e suona Veramente bene.
PedroPablo, 31.01.2021
Ciao mi rimetto a studiare Neil Young!!!!

Piacevolmente sorpreso
aleanibaldi1 , 08.09.2020
Manico maneggevole, bel suono.
