Rushed job in the factory.
PB2018, 04.07.2019
I ordered this on day one of it going for preorder, something like 5+ months.

I received this guitar today, all I can say is it's horribly made, there are gaps between the frets and fretboard, there is a tough glue all over the fretboard and other parts where it has been glued and not cleaned properly. The strings were covered in something like glue also, that made a grinding sound on the frets when it came out of the box, I know strings always need a change, but thinking they were so fresh from the factory they might be ok - NO. There is a few mm between the heel of the neck and the body, it just doesn't fit properly. You can fit two credit cards between the body and the neck.

The nut is cut badly(it's bone I believe) but it wasn't filed properly so the strings have cut into it a small bit.

Along with glue everywhere , there are black spots under the finish. I have bought Harley Benton guitars made much better than this, It's sad because I waited so long to finally have a lefthanded Jazzmaster at a decent price and they failed miserably.

I've never left a negative review for anything in my life but I really have a problem with this guitar, the craftmanship is terrible and it really shows how they cut corners. I won't be buying squier products again.

I would like to say there are pro's but aside from the electronics working there is not much to talk about, the neck is ok however I feel the longer I have this guitar the more problems I will face.

I've been waiting so long ...
Marecky, 02.08.2019
It's horribly made guitar. Paint finish is terrible- spots, paint drips around heel and body area. Gaps between the frets and fretboard, glue all over the fretboard. The heel of the neck and the body, doesn't fit properly. Tremolo system is clicky, arm is not centered in the hole. The nut isn't filed properly. 100-150 euros guitars are finished in better way. That was second Jazzmaster from Thomann, first one I returned becouse of same problems, the second one I'm going to send back too.
Thank you, no more Squier Jazzmasters.

Great guitar that needs a good setup
Chinaski1369, 04.10.2019
I bought this a week ago and I can say I'm really satisfied with it. Keep in mind i'm still a beginner and consider giving this guitar a good setup as soon as you get it. I've had to fix the bridge as it was moving waaay too much and was causing rattling of the strings. The bone nut had to be filed as it was too uneven and the action was lowered a bit, but that's just personal taste i guess. Also, the neck was really dry but after a good dose of lemon oil it's become great.

I wouldn't say anything was faulty or damaged, just needed a few tweaks as you'd do to any new guitar I guess. The sound and the sonic options are just great and I'd have only good things to say about it. I would buy it again if I'd go back, maybe would have been great if there was a lefty option in between this range and the Fender American Pro, but again, i can't really complain.
