If not there ...

JulietteTele, 30.12.2017
the bad processing would be.

A beautiful instrument. This combination of White Blonde and tinted neck is otherwise only available in the Custom Shop and is practically made only on Relic or Heavy Relic. Not nice and that's what someone who loved it a few years ago says.

I sold my Custom Shop Teles because I went back to Gibson VOS LP with P90. As it is, who ever had a telephoto, will miss this sound pretty fast.
On the Internet only positive to the 50s Lacquer from Mexico read and thought, I'll try it. My desired optics have them in any case.

Unwrapped:
Unclean scratchy fret edges, badly made neck pocket, which already begins to fray as with really cheap guitars and the case fasteners hook without end. By the way, this is not a G & G suitcase as it is with the custom shops, but from the Pro series, Made in Vietnam.

This Monday thing went back, but I will try again. Optics, feel and sound are stunning and justify the surcharge of over 2000 euros a custom shop only barely. Maybe in terms of value preservation and processing, but ultimately falls a CS from 3500 to about 2200 euros and not further. But makes a minus of 1300 euros. This costs almost 1000 and will hardly fall below 600-700. This can also add up to a three-year-old.
The majority of the CS clientele, including me, buys these instruments not least because of the feeling that they have something expensive, something special. But when you get better at playing, you can get almost the same sound from a Fender Classic 50s (not Lacquer) for 712 Euros. This model is also available in White Blonde and I had tested shortly before. Processing a dream, only on the bridge has hummed something.
Here you get almost the same guitar. You only pay the extra charge for suitcases and nitro lacquer.

I would like a combination of the cheap Classic 50s but with nitro lacquer instead of polyurethane and without suitcases. Then we would also be around 8-900 euros and that would be perfect.

Why without a suitcase?

It's usually too bulky for the car anyway (the Gibson shape cases always find a place) and at home the guitar hangs on the wall anyway or lies on the sofa. Therefore, you can confidently save the issue for the suitcase here. Especially when the processing is well and the locks hook without end.
Now some may say "buy the FS-6 from SKB, then you have your molded case for Tele and Strat". Well, that's fine. Costs me but extra money that I have previously paid for a suitcase from Fender, but is too bulky, heavy and solala processed.

In my long experience, a cushioned Gigbag for Tele and Strat is absolutely sufficient. The Tweed Gigbag by Fender does not just look fancy, it also feels good and high quality. The padding is absolutely sufficient for Strat and Tele. These guitars are so sturdy and not at all as endangered as Gibson's with their angled headstock.

Conclusion:
Beautiful guitar. You just have to find a flawless one and not shy away from the 7.25 fingerboard radius. It's not nearly as bad as I always thought. Adjust the neck and bridge correctly, then a low string position is possible and not least

ATTENTION now comes

because of the vintage frets. They are much smaller and lower than the Medium Jumbo (6105) I have on almost every guitar. It's fantastic, fast and precise because you finally have contact with the fingerboard. At higher frets it happens quite, that one influences the intonation while playing negatively, because one pushes a string too hard. This does not happen here and the higher frets should play nimble in comparison is a myth that I can disprove 100% with my experience.

50s tele

Peter489, 10.02.2018
Very nice 50s Tele with very good sound! I have the riders against the? Fender Compensated Tele Saddle Set? replaced and instead of the white pickguard, my tele has now one? Göldo Pickguard T-Style BK 5-Hole ?. In addition, I have the neck very carefully freed from the paint, then waxed and last but not least the saddle on 11er strings set up ... now it is even more beautiful and can play wonderfully!
