Any doubts!

Matthias076, 23.04.2017
In search of a versatile guitar, I have come across the ESP E-II Horizon III FM FR STBLK.

Since I have in the past with Tremolo's because of its stability but rather bad experiences, I was not sure if the Klampfe for the weekly live use of 4-5 hours per gig really would be useless without much effort and anger.

Front way, ESP and the built-in Floyd Rose system have convinced me of the contrary and completely eliminated my doubts. Apart from minor fluctuations in the mood due to temperature changes in the room, the part is absolutely unstable. Even with the strongest use of the Whammy bar you can always rely on it.

So much to my doubts, now for the sound and the optics / processing:

The sound is typical ESP very powerful and powerful. The passive Seymour Duncan pick-ups stand out as true all-rounder. The ESP guitars have their focus in the high-gain range is no secret. So you get for your money a really groovy Rock- and especially Metalsound with a tremendous amount of sustain.
In contrast to your active competitors from EMG, you also have a great figure in the clean-up area without major modulation effects.

The guitar is, as one might expect from a guitar made in Japan, very high-quality processed. The weight is perfectly balanced and it can be played through the Thin-U neckprofile wonderfully.

The design of the new E-II Horizon III FM has been somewhat "wind-cut" compared to your predecessor. I personally find it hammer and the lake-throu-black finish looks in genuinely once again a level geiler than on the pictures.

If you are looking for a high-quality rock / metal guitar with a tremble tremolo, the Japanese from ESP are just right.

A high level guitar

16.03.2017
Lightweight, pleasant to wear, a thin handle that allows to navigate without any problem. A perfect finish.
Excellent guitar overall and very satisfied with my purchase. Made in Japan. Delivered with its ESP case.

MOST :
The handle
The ebony fingerboard (a wonder)
Impeccable finish
The splitting of the microphones
The look / design
Gotoh Mechanics
The overall ergonomics (lightness)
The Floyd Rose (Original)

THE LESSERS :
The passive Seymour Duncan mics lack a little potato to have a big metal sound.

Conclusion:
A guitar to the height of my expectations, value for money quite honest. Difficult to find better, although ultimately I may change the microphones (DiMarzio for example)
