Sound great, play great, zero longevity
khodave 28.06.2023
I've been playing Ernie Ball strings for 30 years. The sound amazing. They literally play themselves. Seriously these are effortless and easy to play. However after 3 days these strings lose their brilliance. They will sound dull and old. After another 2 weeks they will sound completely dead. Great for gigging, recording and James Hetfield who will have his strings changed for him every night. Everyone else, there are better alternatives out there. You know what they are.

TJ
Will probably try something else
Travis John 04.11.2023
Tried these on my 24.75 inch guitar for drop D and I’m personally not a huge fan of this combination of string gauges, mainly due to the 42 and the 30 for the A and D strings being much too thick and the 52 (in my opinion) not being thick enough for a low D. The gauges feel a bit mismatched to me but your mileage may vary. I’ll probably try the new Ultra Slinky 10-48 and swap the 48 with a 54 next.

I have decided to try these strings. i play drop d mainly. I think the bottom is too thick for me, but nothing to say about the quality, it's a good product

EG
Decent for the price

These strings are good for the price. I always buy Elixirs and find them to be the best but if I can't buy Elixirs, I'll go with Ernie Balls.
