Love it!
ayao28, 28.04.2017
I absolutely love this guitar. Even though all my other guitars range from $1k - $4k, this guitar takes a back seat to none of them.

The satin finish feels really comfortable, and I actually prefer this over the glossy Gibson version.

Play-ability is great, with no issues whatsoever, and the Dirty-fingers pickups (identical to the Gibson version) are perfect for punk rock and Tom Delonge's music.

Bought as a first guitar being a massive fan of Tom and blink, amazing tone and feels great and the simplicity of one volume knob makes it less of a headache finding sound especially for someone like myself getting their first guitar.

Loud Guitar for a small budget!
KlausPSAR, 13.02.2014
The Epi Tom Delonge is a very interesting guitar, by basicly being a "one-trick-pony". It is built for on thing only: Distorted (punk-)rock-tones. And it does so brilliantly! The design however is a matter of taste... but I like it a lot.

My guitar is built well, with some small details you wouldn´t even find on a more expensive Gibson model. The binding is not perfect, but you have to look closely to find the errors. Apart from that, that finish is well done, especially the racing-stripes!!!. The action was pretty high out of the box, but after half an hour of setup and putting on proper strings (note: the ones that were originally on the guitar painted my fingers black...:) ) the beauty sings, i mean: It shouts!
The loudness you get out of the Dirty-Fingers is brutal, i really had to tone done all my settings to get it to work in a living-room environment. Open it up in the band-room and you have a ears-full of joy!
Playability is great, though the neck is bit on thicker side. Intonation is good, but don´t expect a jazz guitar here. I had some minor feedback-problems, but nothing that couldn´t be solved by adjusting the position of my amp or myself. So all quite well here, too.

In the end, it does what it should do, that is to play well and loud, still sounding nice and full. Take the price into consideration: You will get an excelent bargain!
Highly recommende to those that want a simply guitar with a huge fun-factor!

One of my favorite guitars
Razor89, 14.02.2014
I bought the Epiphone Tom Delonge ES-333 a few years ago and it has since turned into one of my favorite guitars and the only one that I play on a daily basis.

Features:
Admittedly, the features are a bit sparse on this guitar, but they fit my style just right. I barely touch the tone potis on my other guitars and seldomly use the neck pickups - I've actually removed them both from some of my other guitars. So, while a single pickup and volume poti don't seem like a lot, it might actually be all you need.
The guitar features a cover on the back which let's you access the elctronic wiring once removed, while the only way to access the wiring on other ES style guitars is through the f-holes.

Sound:
The Gibson Dirty Fingers pickup used in this guitar is one of the best pickups out there. I play mostly punk-rock and hardcore and the Tom DeLonge ES is just perfect for this. You get a thick distortion sound out of it, as well as a great crunch and warm clean sound. If you're playing music with focus on distorted guitars, this one might offer just the sound you're looking for

Quality:
The guitar is very well built and I haven't run into any major problems with it so far.
