Replacement driver for our EAW DCS2

Not easy to find original drivers and we figured out these were identical to the factory drivers, so we used these to replace original broken ones and the subs are like brand new. We use them as kicks and the chest punch is hard. Already bought 3.

Beim Kappa Pro 12 handelt es sich um einen exzellent verarbeiteten, sehr hochwertigen Tiefmitteltontreiber, der eine gute Figur in Beschallungskabinetten der Couleur 12" / 1" bzw. 12" / 1,4" und ähnlichen Konstrukten macht. Was dieses Chassis an elektrischer Energie aufnehmen kann, ohne Gefahr zu laufen, zerstört zu werden, ist beachtlich.

Es handelt sich um ein Parallelkonstrukt zum Electrovoice-Chassis EVM 12L bzw. zum RCF-Modell L12P110K, die auch viel verbaut wurden / werden. Durch die Aufhängung bedingt zeigt der Kappa Pro 12 ein strafferes Ausschwingverhalten als das EV-Chassis und muss sich daher klanglich nicht dahinter verstecken, im Gegenteil. Der L12P110K hat noch mehr Lowmids und ist nicht umsonst mit das härteste Geschütz in 212er-Bauten, wo der Kappa Pro 12 nicht mehr so ganz mitkommt - sein Einsatzbereich ist in der Regel (wie gesagt) ein anderer.

Syrincs hat diesen Treiber z. B. in den Quader-Boxen im 12"-Bereich verbaut... und die bieten fürstlichen Klang!
