Replacing an old friend is hard

I have been using a Ludwig Speed King for 36 years and she finally went. I did the research and to be honest Kick pedals aren't that complicated. I didn't want to have to get used to using a non direct drive pedal so was delighted to find this. Its feels very similar to a Speed King except It has very long pedal which suits my huge feet and it is totally adjustable though to be honest it was set up right straight out of the box so this will only be needed later. What can I say, it's a kick pedal that does everything a kick pedal is ment to do, is built to last and can be adjusted to suit most drummers needs. Kick pedals are kind of personal this one suits me because It is a perfect replacement for a speed King and that is high priase indeed.

Decent pedal for the price

A decent direct drive pedal with a very large footboard. I am not completely happy with how the sprint, that operates the hoop clamp, is attached. Part of the spring sits in between the bass drum hoop and the pedal, which is strange and unlike any other pedal I have seen. It looks fragile.
The built is pretty sturdy, but the pedal has a rather 'heavy' feel to it when played and lacks a certain amount of subtlety in its action.
Definitely worth its price, but don't expect a world class pedal.

it is very comfortable pedal..

it is very comfortable pedal easy to push and slide tec. looking is good and materials are sufficient quality.. i am pleased to use it. there ise one thing feature remain i have to say. pedal back response may a little bit good. but it is enough for this price.

Very light and fast pedal, really good for the price.
Edit: after about a year one of the bearings from the direct drive got really loose. And it's getting a bit less smooth.
So it's good to play but not the best quality.
