Lean power and very light

Aitor Antón, 28.09.2017
I had to retire my old 1x12 '' combo and looked for something more powerful, with 2 speakers, and comfortable to carry. In many concerts we shared backline with other bands, so I decided on this ampli and a 2x12 '' palmer screen. The DV screens look great and are very light, but I could not spend as much.

The ampli is very simple, a row of roulettes for each channel and a common reverb. There will be those who miss a master volume, since it only has the volumes of each channel. For me it's no problem because I have everything on pedals and I only use the clean channel.

I was surprised by the factory equalization of both channels, with many low and low frequencies, especially in the distortion channel, but it is something that is easily compensated by raising media and removing bass in the equalizer.

What I liked least is the volume control, between 0 and 2 goes up a lot of volume, let's say it is difficult to adjust the volume if you want to play bass. Nor is it a big problem because I'm only going to use it in direct and some rehearsal with the whole group.

Another small glue that I see is that the pre-out output connection does not pick up the pedals that we have plugged into the effects loop.

Great little part .. may stay!

Desiree, 31.12.2017
Yes ... it's a transistor and I've been prejudiced like so many. I've been playing a Marshall JCM 2000 TSL 100 for 15 years, so I'm really spoiled for sound. The TSL is really too hard for me and I have no more desire to drag the on the gigs. Therefore, something small portable had to come from.

I have both amps with the same BOX (1x12 No Name) tested against each other: (perhaps bissl unfair but important to me)

Volume:
The kid keeps up with the big one easily.

Clean Channel:
I like the DV Mark Little better !! Brilliante, clean clean sounds that jump well on the EQ (attention turn out bass)

Overdrive:
Okay, the Marshall is in the lead, but I have to say that the kid really has an official twist and you can really make it sound good. From crunch to rock, to metal, everything in the thing. (again bass at 9:00 clock). He does not sound muddy at all, or scratchy.

effects loop:
The DV Mark more beautiful. My Boss GT8 sounds wonderful on the amp and it is also not to notice that the sound is "nasig". With the Marshall I always had the problem that the loop takes away too much signal.

CONCLUSION:
A great little all-rounder, who will go on stage with me in the future !! You really have to make no compromises, because the little one can do it all: be light, sound great and look great :-)
