Switching between strumming using a pick and playing by hand you noticed the difference between your fingers hitting the strings or the pick hitting them.
This pick is ideal to keep the bass sound a bit more pronounced and less flattened.
The pick is made from the same tortoise shell plastic as the standard medium
picks made by Dunlop. The pick is really sturdy and of good quality. It has not failed on me, by being broken or chipped. Currently the pick has only light scratch marks on its pick surface after use.
After not practicing the guitar for a couple of days, my picking gets a bit more rusty, more forced and less subtle. The first thing i notice using this pick is the plastic hitting the strings. Mostly i blame my bad playing, but it is the sturdy plastic of this pick that brings it out.
After consistent practicing, the pick no longer makes this sound.
So for guitarists who pick rather hard, this might not be the pick of choice.
Gripwise, this pick is very comfortable around your thumb. It is not going anywhere while you play.
The darkish color is nice, but it also makes it get lost easily when it drops on a
black stage floor.
