The 921 is quite good in quality and weight but the length is more suited to a 12 string pedal steel guitar than a 10 string psg but over all is a good back up bar.

Spiele damit auf einer 10-Saitigen Pedal Steel (E9). Zuvor hatte ich die kleinere Variante verwendet (920).

Der 921er ist deutlich schwerer und größer. Klanglich kann ich mit diesem Tonebar wesentlich mehr aus meiner Steel herausholen - mehr Sustain und mehr Brillianz.

Trotz des größeren Gewichts lässt sich damit bequem und ohne größere Ermüdungserscheinungen spielen, weil einem der Slider auf der klanglichen Seite etwas Arbeit abnimmt.

Die Verarbeitung ist einwandfrei. Der Preis kommt mir für ein Stück Edelstahl recht hoch vor. Trotzdem ist es im Verhältnis zu anderen Anschaffungen eine günstige Klangverbesserung.

Lourd, excellente finition… au top !

J'utilise ce Tonebar avec la superbe Lap-Steel que m'a conçue mon ami et luthier Ermanno Pasqualato (Herrmann Guitars, "Slide & Weissenborn") et c'est magique… Il est lourd, bien entendu, et un peu difficile à prendre en main (c'est le cas de le dire) au début, mais après quelques jours de pratique, on n'éprouve plus aucun problème. Son poids lui confère un très beau sustain… un peu comme pour un bottleneck -en verre- qui plus sera épais, plus vous offrira de longueur et épaisseur de son.
Bien entendu, la lutherie aura une grande incidence sur le résultat.

Al ser muy pesada, proporciona un gran sonido

Eso sí, no la recomiendo para empezar (mejor una 919) , porque pesa mucho y fatiga, ni para tocar pasajes rápidos en el dobro porque no es cómodo estar levantándola y posándola continuamente en las cuerdas (para eso considero mucho más adecuadas las Shubb). Eso sí, para tocar despacio y para el estilo hawaiano es una maravilla.
