Extremely versatile microphone set

These are some of the best microphones out there in terms of usefulness.

I have used them as room mics, under cymbals, on kick drum, for speech, guitars violins, woodwind instruments and piano, they have perform flawlessly everytime.

They are so small they can be positioned almost anywhere and a set of positioning clips and holders are included in the box. I need to say at this point that when I received my set one of the clips and another tightening tool where missing, but I send an email to Thomann and got sent replacements straight away.

These microphones sound very clear with a fast transient and detailed sound with crisp highs, but also very natural due to the omni polar pattern. It's also worth saying the frequency response has a high boost, but i find that useful most of the times and it can be easily corrected with eq when not needed.

So flexible, fantastic sound

The most flexible mic's i've come across; from working with instruments to pure sound design experiments, these are unparalleled. Highly recommended for a variety of uses, highly portable...you won't regret it.

Used in classical concert with choir hung in the hangers they made a fine and effective capture. For the piano I used the magnetized supports. There you hear quite well the parasitic noises of the mechanics and the pianist who taps the keys. Good product to recommend.

I hesitated a long time until I bought the dpa's. In the meantime, however, I do not want to miss them. In the live mode there are few microphones that can be used flexibly (accordion, piano, guitar, OH's !!). Especially on stages, where there is in the best case no microphones should be one can use these excellently.

In addition to a very low level of self-noise, the high sound fidelity can be emphasized.
For a capsule of this size you get an amazing linear frequency response.

The only drawback is the connection between the supply unit and the microphone. This is, in my opinion, a shortcoming. Affects something too sensitive. But if you take care, it's clear.
