Voltage addressed switch
Not one but three functions in one module. This can operate as a sample and hold or track and hold (just change a jumper) with eight separate channels. It also contains an eight into one, or one to eight way electronic switch. Finally, it can operate as an analogue addressed one-of-eight decoder. Incredibly useful for making random and pseudo-random musical sequences. Get one...

Excellent multi-function unit
This module is extremely useful - there is an 8-way switch, an 8-way Track and Hold unit, and an 8 way digital out unit - all of which can be selected sequentially by a clock, or addressed directly via CV, or manually, or a combination of all three.
I use this unit mainly for adding complexity to my sequencing (switching between clocked and CV addressed operation can really mix things up);
for addressed sequencing using the digital outs with mixers; to distribute one sequence to multiple oscillators for quasi-polyphonic patches;
as a random trigger source (using noise for CV addressing);
using T&H to create multiple sequences from a noise source... and so on.

Doepfer's Secret Weapon
This module is just huge, not in size, but what it can do. It's now used in pretty much every patch I make.
It's a belter.
