Fiddly but does the trick

These pins are a nice touch towards making an instrument unique. They look the part and are sturdy bits of kit.

I did find that putting them in the first few times was troublesome; the material they are made is just a little less grippy than most, so needed pushing in very securely. These may be unsuitable for poor quality bridges. Other than this very satisfied.

I bought these to replace the beat up plastic ones on my takemine. They look really good and hold the strings in place well. I have'nt noticed too much difference in sound but they look great.

Super Sound mit Abstrichen bei der Verarbeitung

Im Rahmen der "Aufhübschung" meiner ersten Akustikgitarre (mittlerweile 16 Jahre alt), habe ich die Mechaniken an der Gitarre wegen Defekts getauscht und zudem die Bridge Pins erneuert. Die alten waren aus Plastik und durch den ständigen Wechsel der Saiten ziemlich unansehnlich geworden.
Optisch fügen sich die Pins hervorragend in das Gesamtbild mit den Goldmechaniken ein. Ich hatte diesbezüglich zunächst bedenken, wegen der Kombi Messing/Gold. Sieht aber top aus.
Klanglich bin ich von den Pins sehr begeistert. Die alte Gitarre hört sich sehr Brilliant an und ich spiele sie jetzt noch lieber als ich es ohnehin schon tue.
Leider sind die Inlays nicht besonders toll eingearbeitet. An der Optik gibt es nichts auszusetzen, allerdings stehen sie teilweise etwas über und haben Klebereste oben drauf.
Mich stört dieser Umstand nicht, aber von der Verarbeitung her ist noch Luft nach oben.
Trotzdem würde ich die Pins wegen des Klanggewinns erneut kaufen.
