Nice Strat twang
Vuk77, 12.01.2020
I used to own a Fender Liteash strat (swamp ash body, birdseye maple neck and real Seymours). That guitar was also made in Cort factory. Unfortunately I sold it when I needed money. This thing comes very close, sound is typical Strat twang but with far better bass and treble attack then alder guitars. Also sustain is a lot better. Pickups are very good and sound close to real Seymour Duncans. Humbucker in bridge position is simply great and coil-split is excellent. The tremolo is better than any Squier, Mexican strat or other strat copies. The tuners are bad, but what do you expect at this price. I will swap them for locking tuners ASAP.

At his price range there are a number of guitars from Ibanez, Epiphone and others. This guitar ranks among the best for price/performance. There are very few ash guitars on the market, try one and you will see what I'm talking about. This is an amazing guitar-period. Typical vintage strat sound and then a lot more versatility with the humbucker. Also the humbucker in single coil mode sounds unbelievably good. In fact I would say it is the best sounding bridge single coil I ever played. And I owned more than 10 strats so far. Very bright and trebly, yet beautifully rounded sound that cuts through the mix. Absolutely brilliant!

Stunning !
TeoD, 06.07.2017
I bought this guitar as my metal axe loaded with active pickups just wasn't cutting it for the softer, bluesy stuff.
Taking it out of the box, it shocked me. It looked absolutely amazing. It came with a perfect setup, with low action (which makes it extremely comfortable to play) and on spot intonation. The neck is rather wide (or so it seems to me) and I found it rather difficult to play Hendrixian licks as the thumb just wouldn't go easily over the top of the fretboard , but that has to do with practice more than anything else, so that isn't a major problem.
The tone is superb. Even though the pickups are Duncan Designed, to me they seem like the real thing. They can do anything you want, from stunning cleans to bluesy crunch to black metal tones (the humbucker isn't shabby either, it packs a punch!). The addition of a push-pull switch opens up a plethora of opportunities as well (it can be used for country as well).
The tremolo holds the tuning pretty well, even after using it a lot the pitch is perfect.
All in all, it's a great guitar and I'd recommend it to anyone, regardless of musical genre!

Worth every penny
Tomdameek, 25.07.2017
The amount of sounds I can get from this guitar is amazing. It ticks all my boxes. Great playability, great looks and brilliant sounds.

It is so comfortable to pla. What really surprised me was how silent the single coils are on high gain in comparison to the American Strat I used to own. I'm so pleased with it and if you want that Strat sound with a bit of grunt on the bridge, this is definitely for you. I can't praise it high enough for beginners or advanced players.

Love it!
Lars7388, 12.02.2017
This plays everything, the 5-way selector gives you a real variety of sounds, all balanced, well sustained and full. very responsive and and the electronics do just what they should. seymour duncan designed "hotrails" x3. these babies scream and rock, rock like youve never rocked before. Coil tap lets you go from thumping rock rage humbucking madness to squealy single coil hendrix joy. perfect action tremolo and this thing needs tuning less often than any other guitar ive seen.

This guitar will withstand everything. Love her, hold her and appreciate her and she will be yours forever. The black mirror chrome colourises very slightly with age (thats a good thing!) but doesnt pit or corrode. looks better and better with age. ps about that chrome- its not some weak stuff like on a penknife blade. its properly electrolised on hard shiney morror chrome that wont pit or scratch or flake.
