Top trumpet!

This solidly built model by Carol Brass is absolutely impeccable except for the lacquer (there were a few quirks on my instrument, which was thankfully very well handled by Thomann), and the compilation of the materials (see article description) convinced me, because : The sound is absolutely bold, radiant, in the piano the instrument speaks easily and is open in all positions. The special feature of this Carol Brass model is its balancedness, similar to the old Selmer or Olds recording trumpets - only better. It seems like a dream come true.
However: that you have to rinse a new instrument first to remove lapping residues, I am surprised, but apparently this is so today.
There is no desire left by the game, this trumpet is just fun!
The equipment is top, and for a thousand you get a thoroughly professional trumpet with fantastic valves and super sound.

I was very happy about this Carol Brass instrument, as I find balanced trumpets, like the old Selmer Paris Louis Armstrong models, very nice.
Due to its balancedness the trumpet is much better in the hand than ordinary models.
I recently played on an olds recording, which is also an excellent balanced trumpet. I must say I like this Carol Brass even better.

The intonation is excellent, the response is extremely easy, the valves run perfectly and the sound is finished!

I like the brown leather case very well,
Accessories are plentiful.
The only thing that is not quite perfect with Carol Brass products in my experience is the varnish. Here you often have some small quirks.
These do not, however, cloud the very positive overall picture!
