Positively Surprised
Celleur, 14.12.2020
I bought the bow basically to have a cheap one for outdoor gigs and to use with the Yamaha Silent Cello at band gigs - and where blown away. This bow is very agile, has a nice pressure response and is very well balanced. It gives a quite direct feedback which really helps, finding the right location and pressure.

This bow has now basically replaced a good wooden bow, that cost around twice the price and that one feels heavy and slow compared to this.

I was very surprised and am quite happy with the quality.

The hair is OK, maybe a bit smooth for my taste, but that's very subjective. It sounds good.

Overall a great bow for the price and fun to play.

Warning: Wooden bows might feel a bit old fashioned after using this :)

This bow was found by the teacher of my daughter to be good and selected from three arches. I had ordered three carbon bows in different price classes after three arcs were discarded for the three-price of this bow. The first was Carbondix ***, the second a Viennabow for 350 ¤ and the third of these. This bow jumps well, is stable, balanced and is well in the hand. The difference in the sound of the cellos between these arches is clearly perceptible. We are happy, especially since the teacher is very demanding as regards the choice of the instrument and the bow. From here a clear purchase recommendation. The differences in the price in this case also meant differences in sound and playability.
