Very realistic sound.
Martin955, 02.07.2013
Very happy with the sound!
I got this for adding to a few rock songs I had in Pro Tools. Kind of Waits/Springsteen/Van Morrison type of genre, and it worked really well!
I think it's very difficult to tell the difference between these virtual instruments and real brass instruments.
It's quite easy to use in Pro Tools although my MacBook had only 2GB RAM and so it was very hard on the computer. I upgraded to 4GB which was fine.
You can mix different layers of trombones, sax and trumpets and so long as your midi keyboard has good response to how heavy you hit the keys, there's a great variety of how strong a note can be played.

Good front end, but still quite decent price
Michael aus M, 01.07.2012
After this is begged on the homepage always afterwards, I have this Sunday morning a heart taken and try me times.

It is very, very difficult for me, because I have not done too much with it. On the other hand, I have direct comparison to other candidates.

I like the front end and the usability. This is top, simple, effective. Various articulations about keyboard triggers, most importantly for me the Attacks, goes full on. Also the crescendo section is class. Therefore, full score for operation and features.
Before the sound still to the computer workload: I do not notice anything negative, but this and other sampler run on my new box with 64 bit Win 7, 4.3 GHz Quadcore and 32 GB of RAM. As with all other samplers and especially in the network of them, I can only advise of Win 32 bit with the 3GB RAM. The old calculator is still with me only around and serves as needed with Midi the few VST instruments, which work only under 32 bit and not synonymous JBridgen leave.

Now to the sound, of course most important:

He is already very ok, but does not tear me completely from the chair. I run CHH in a layer (ie already separate VST instrument, but in unison) of five instruments. The first is CHH, the second CHH is one octave higher. That goes also by key in the first layer, but then sounds not so and one can not install in Midi then no natural deviations, also not the volume as I have seen so far. Then in the layer in addition for Attacks still twice contact Sax & Brass and then, taken only late, the Independence 3.0 with a wind section, the same as CHH.
The sounds of the CHH are quite superior to those of the Sax and Brass (the comparison is of course not based on this layer, but general), if only the sound goes out. If one speaks of the further possibilities as just Crescendo etc., so I would contact in approximately as the savings issue designate, the other features of contact (eg big band) times overlooked.
Subjectively like anything else, but against the force and the rough naturalness of the Independence winds, CHH has with me the look. This can be a disadvantage, but it does not have to. Depending on what you want. Independence can also sound too crude for some purposes, since you would then have to work properly in Midi and / or in the Channelstrip.

My conclusion:

I think for a bit smoother, especially pop / radio etc. productions a good, thought out and very variable instant product, but also at a good price.
If you want more differentiated things, you have to drive as much effort over Midi and Channelstrip as with the Independence, only comes this from the rather impetuous side, CHH but more of the tame.
