Affordable and good enough

I am not a working musician and purchased this pedalboard to easily and quickly put the setup away (and on its side) when not in use at home. So cannot really comment on any traveling/durability concerns you might have. Otherwise, keep reading, as this may be the choice for you too!

I never liked the idea of sticking velcro on pedals, therefore a spongy suitcase solution like this one seemed more appropriate. Plus, the ability to customise the board at least to minor degree is quite welcome. Strictly home/studio use did not justify for me the higher-priced options in this category.

The board/case is made of surprisingly sturdy plastic sure to take some "mishandling". The top/lid half of the case is easy to put back on every time without careful aiming for it. The sliding lock system does however require some getting used to, and could have been explained on an additional leaflet. And yes, the locks are likely the first to break if not treated with care.

There is also the concern regarding the spongy materials Behringer have used for the inside lining and whether they will last beyond the 3 year warranty period. Without permanently sticking to the pedals upon disintegration, at least!

My board includes pedals of various brands, so I removed the Behringer-sized 'guides' immediately and instead connected the effects in a row using mostly the metal couplers I already had (and not the included patch cables) to gain extra space needed by the slightly wider pedals. But don't get me wrong ? the included cables seem alright for the job.

The included power daisychain is advertised on the box as handling six pedals, but was actually enough for seven (the size of my current setup anyway, so I did not need to introduce an additional splitter to the overall spaghetti).

All in all, I am quite pleased with this product. So far it does what I expected!

This does exactly what it says - holds a collection of stomp boxes in whatever order you want, no fussing. End of gig, put the lid on and it's all ready waiting for your next stop.
