You get what you pay for.

I'm a professional DJ and aim at high end concerning clients. I was looking for something out of the ordinary to distinguish us from your everyday cheap looking light products on the market today. After much research i came across the ape labs light stick which very few UK retailers stock. There are alternatives to this product granted, however the majority are and look plastic. Simply picking these sticks up and holding them you can tell these units are clearly built to last being of sturdy metal and high grade materials. The magnetic mounting brackets supplied make them very easy to mount anywhere quickly and easily. Light output is reasonable and i would recommend a minimum of four to fill a small venue of 50 people. The edge that ape lab has with these is that they talk to each other without any programming / DMX needed and produce a unique light show by themselves. Effectively stand alone either working all together with one synchronized colour or sound to light rainbow effect all controlled by a simple remote provided. Battery life is good if fully charged before the gig and will last a good 6 hrs of non stop use at full light output. If you're looking to invest in some quality lighting that will impress your clients, create the right image for your business and last you cant go wrong with these light sticks. The only downside if there is one is the price, but as my header imply's, you do get what you pay for. In this case quality.

Grat for unexpected situations

When you have to work with a great variety of events, then these are a great multitool to have loaded with you. Just power them on and stick anywhere you like that's magnetic or by using the given adapters. Sound responses are great. Way better than just the normal blinking or the hideous sound active modes that are on cheap led bars. It has more of an effect if you have multiple. Also easy to program, which is something they obviously have strived towards.

Only cons would be the light output and that the individual LEDs are clearly visible, even at max brightness.

Good quality product

I use these to light a truss DJ booth. Can be set up in seconds. The wireless remote is super responsive for anywhere in the room. If you want to save time, then these are a good purchase. A bit expensive but you get what you pay for, extremely good quality.

Endlich Licht im Sonnenschirm

Über dieses Produkt haben wir uns wirklich sehr gefreut. Wir verfügen über einige große Sonnenschirme 7x7m, die in einem denkmalgeschützten Hof stehen. Aus diesem Grund war es uns nicht möglich Stromleitungen in die Schirme zu legen. 2 Apesticks reichen vollkommen für eine Fläche von 49m² aus. Zwei Metallplättchen an die Schirme und die Apesticks mit den Magneten befestigt. Akulaufzeit vollkommen ausreichend. Sehr schöne Farben und das Wichtigste: Echtes Warmweiß!!!! dimmbar. Bedienung kinderleicht. Am Abend einfach abziehen und über Nacht an den Strom. Auch im Winter fällt uns bei Veranstaltungen immer etwas mit den Sticks ein, da Sie mit anderen Produkten von Ape Labs kombinierbar sind. Einfach an ein Geländer oder einen anderen metallischen Gegenstand geklebt und los gehst. Alles in Allem echt super!
kleines Manko: In der ersten Generation sind manchmal die Akus verrutscht. Reklamiert, eingeschickt, behoben, so muss es sein.
