The best acoustic booster in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alikhan, 19.12.2017
I originally wanted to be on stage with his vocalist, and we started looking for a amplifier for acoustic guitar and microphone.first we went to the store and advised us fender acoustic pro.we tried to play on it, listened to it and we liked it and we decided to buy it on Thomann. and now we are on saiie place your order suddenly find acus one 8.thanks Thomann, we were able to listen to the samples and loved it.we also watched a lot of reviews on it and was delighted.we ordered it and started waiting for him with impatience.and finally we waited,he came for 2 weeks , we were very happy.the packaging was just super, such as a rigid box of wood, inside of Bfl foam too strong.we got acus ,plugged in a guitar and a microphone, and just stood still with delight,it was such a pure sound which cannot be compared with nothing, such a stylish design the sound is so bright and beautiful, this is the best acoustic combo amplifier.take it and don't assume you will not regret it , it is absolutely worth its price.thank you Thomann they sell such good stuff.you've made my day, I'm the happiest,I advise everyone Thomann because they make my job a million percent!!!

A new star at the Akustikamp sky - and how the lights are lit .....

Klaus-Dieter H., 06.02.2014
The Acus One-8 I have added to occasionally amplify small gigs with guitar and singing. In addition, the amp should be used as a DI box and monitor for larger performances.

In addition to the ample equipment of the amplifier, its small dimensions and the very successful loudspeaker equipment made me want to buy.

The amp is four-channel built, which is already exceptional in this price class. The needs of a working musician were taken into account. There are two microphone inputs, which offer both XLR and clinker inputs. A clinker input is provided for the third channel; It is thus predestined for the connection of a guitar. This will preferably be an acoustic guitar. It also works, however, to connect an electric guitar with a preamp (eg Boss ME-70).

Fortunately, these three channels were also equipped with gain regulators, which greatly facilitate the coordination between guitar and mics. The other equalizer parameters also work effectively and, if desired, actively intervene in the sound. Channel four with stereo chinch connector provides the possibility to operate an external sound source, eg mp3 player or midi player. The effect section is well thought-out and the selected effect can be individually controlled for each channel in its intensity. The headphone output, the DI-Out and the absolutely effective Notch filter are also worth mentioning.

To the sound: WAHNSINN!
To the test I have the full program. After the amp was securely placed on a tripod thanks to its speaker flange, two mics, an acoustic guitar and a Roland SonicCell were connected as a midifile player. The soundcheck, ie the control of the channels among each other has not taken two minutes. What then came out of this little box, has knocked me down. The guitar sound remains quite natural and reflects the sound characteristics of the guitar unchanged. The singing also comes unadulterated and noble. And then the Midis from the fourth channel really crisp and fresh with good bassfundament and totally linear. That's how it should be. With a much higher-priced AER Domino, this middle sound has always bothered me. With the Acus it is completely different and much better solved. Even at moderate volume you can feel the "wind" from the speaker.

Conclusion: I have the Acus One 8 absolutely convinced. For me, he is now the reference class among the acoustics. But the competition can sometimes come up quickly, to beat this little box. What is now so bustling on the market, especially in this price segment, is certainly not. But even among the much more expensive amps it becomes very thin. The sound characteristics, the equipment and everything in these small dimensions leave me in any case no wishes open.

In the course of time, I will surely still have the right Extensionbox; Then I can spread the sound a bit more in the width and can play many shows with two small boxes without ever having to go up my big Dynacord PA.

Supplement: After a 3/4 year intensive use, I am still enthusiastic about the amp. Interesting is the comparison to a JAM 150, which a colleague of mine own. The JAM (now Schertler) is not bad either. But what is a very important advantage of the Acus is the gain control, which makes a coordination between guitar and mics much easier. Depending on the pickup system, the guitar is just too quiet at the JAM. This may be synonymous with relatively quiet applications still be equal, but leads to problems with appearances, which also sometimes require a higher output level. So, as before, thumbs up for the Acus.
