The Camera for everyone!

Finally, I found the easiest way to record great quality sound and movie in 4K without any special equipment !!
A handy, pocket-sized video recorder for every occasion. For me, as a musican, it works great for live streaming, you can connect it to a computer and send the recording directly to social networks. But when it comes to non-professional use - the device is very spacious and works everywhere, outdoors, in low light or in strong sunlight! (Of course, because it has twelve specialized stage settings, we can find among them Outdoor mode for recordings outdoors in daylight, Sunset, Night for night recordings, Concert Light, Jazz Club and Dance Club for various types of interiors, and also more saturated X-Process and Sepia and Monochrome filters. These settings can also be entrusted to the recorder (Auto mode) or left neutral (Flat) and any modifications can be made later in post-production) In addition, the 150 ° wide-angle lens and five field view modes!)
In auto mode, in my opinion, each recording will be well lit and balanced. So you can safely take it on trips, especially when it runs on 2 AA batteries, so you don't have to worry about losing the power adapter!
Actually, you do not need to worry about anything because this camera works on standard cables: audio listening via stereo jack 1/8 '', and thanks to the micro HDMI type D connector you can watch the recording in high definition on TV.
I love it, especially for this price, I think it is worth getting yourself such a gem, it will serve you for a long time!

Good for sound, not so great for video

Nice audio recorder. Love, that it can be used without extra handles.
Easy to use, built quality is nice.
However, I could not get a nice picture with it. Without extra lighting, I can not get indoor picture even at the daylight. Too much grain. My smartphone do a much greater job.
Maybe some user error, but I did not found how to get a nice picture with it. Sound quality is nice, though.

Great compact recorder - recommended for drummers!

the camera is very easy to use, it's compact and offers a very good quality on videos and audios for the price.

preset settings are already very good, but of course to get the best results you need to spend a little time fiddling around with settings, which really takes an hour tops to try them all.

4k recordings require a compatible sd card (you can find the list on the product page on zoom's website).

of course this is not a pro videomaker tool so don't expect to look like a fancy youtube star after the first recordings, but for the price and the ease of use, you won't get any better!

sure, some phones offer amazing recording quality nowadays, but that usually drains battery and storage.

best thing is that you can power-supply the camera via usb through a charger so you won't have to replace batteries during the recordings, when indoor.

I am a drummer and use it to record practice, ideas and band rehearsals. It never peaks or distorts, unless set on audio only recording ad too close to the kit.

this has been so far one of the best investments i have made to improve my progresses.

It was not as simple to use as I expected but once I got going it works well. Video is ok, but sounds amazing. I can certainly recommend it for band rehearsal recording
