I use this adaptor with the 'sssnake DC5 Cable' which can handle at least four basic pedals (delay, reverb, flanger, distortion) and more -- just be sure the amperage of each pedal combined does not exceed the amperage listed on the back of this adaptor.
I've been using it for over a year now with no issue. It's also a lot less bulky than some of the 9V adaptors I've used in the past, so highly recommended.
Bought this PSU for my Zoom B1Xon, though it is suitable for many of Zoom's products. I was using the B1Xon with batteries, so I wanted to upgrade to a power supply. I used a generic Boss-type PSU, but this seemed to introduce large quantities of hum, buzz and other noise into the system so I bought this hoping to eradicate these problems and I'm happy to say it works very well, i.e. relatively silently, but not as silently as using batteries for some reason. Good for live work but in the studio I'd use batteries, so it's not a big deal. Not expensive and saves on battery costs, at least for gigging.
