Great for rehearsal!

I've used this sucker with my band a couple of times now.
The sound is surprisingly clean and smooth, even when you turn it up a notch.

Remember to use a pedal for distortion of some sort. Or if you want any other effects of course. The sound of this amp is great just for reflecting how your actual bass sounds. Along with the EQ and compressor you really can adjust the "base bass sound" to your liking.

I'd imagine that this amp would be great for smaller gigs as well; larger ones of you just add another cabinet.

Mini-PA!

27.03.2015
First, I'm not a bass player, but use the thing to amplify an acoustic guitar - so like a portable PA. For this purpose, it is fantastically suited to much better than all of these acoustic impulses IMO. The advantage of the Warwick is that it can make endless pressure and with its 15er also the lower frequencies. SO sounds an acoustic knock properly! 300W have me so far always thick enough for smaller performances.
The sound is fantastic thanks to the tweeter, you can even sing about it. The best thing is the graphic equalizer, which can be adjusted perfectly to the respective instrument or the acceptance, so that you always get a cool sound.
Of course, there are also criticisms: on the one hand, these metal nostalgic toggle switches are nice to look at, but I do not know yet, when they are now on or off (just like my ex)! And the two carrying handles above are not worthy of an impertinence and such an expensive device. After one-time use, the plastic shells are already tearing out, Thomann has made a substitution, but the same scrap! This will not last long.
Bottom line but a 100% recommendation! Only if the part for bass is synonymous, I can not judge ...;)
