Very compact and powerful, excellent with high power and 'normal' pedals
Anonymous 26.02.2014
I use this to power my 3 Strymon pedals and my midi/loop switcher. It's built like a brick: really solid, and can be used with all types of pedals. Even though it is not recommended to, I have used one or more of the power outputs with a daisy chain power supply lead to power many more than the 4 pedals this unit is supposed to power -with absolutely no ill effects or background noise/hum. Each output supplies up to 400ma at 9v, so there's more than enough to power pedals on a daisy chain as long as this total isn't exceeded. The unit does not have an additional courtesy power outlet (unlike the Pedal Power Plus 2 unit) but it can always be plugged into the one on the Pedal Power Plus 2 to reduce the number of main leads going into your pedalboard. There is what seems to be a small fan inside for when the unit gets really hot, but I have neither seen nor heard this in operation, and can only assume the unit doesn't generate much heat, or that the fan is so quiet as to be undetectable! All in all a great unit and solution for power hungry effects, and being the same size as the Pedal Power Plus 2, (only slightly shorter) using a pair of Pedal Train mounting brackets it can also be fitted underneath your pedalboard (Pedal Train).

How do you rate a power supply ?
Glenn2701 11.11.2015
This one runs my zoom G5, TC helicon voice live gtx, and line 6 relay and sits underneath my pedaltrain
Everything is noise free , and it's a doddle to just plug in one psu, I also have a couple of xlr's and a jack lead, attached to the board, which I can just uncurl and plug in for a super quick set up...
Makes life easier ....ps all power supplies are NOT made equal - ensure you check your voltages and current draw to make sure the power supply will run your effects ....seemed expensive when I first started looking, but the upper end supplies all seem to be pricey !

Does The Job.
Anonymous 01.09.2016
This is a great power supply, I use it for three digital pedals and a MIDI controller/loop system, and it works perfectly. It sits neatly under my pedalboard and does its job with no fuss.

I would definitely recommend it to anyone in need of a quality power supply for their hungrier pedals.

Powerful & Noiseless
Skintard 12.12.2019
I've had many powerbanks throughout the years; this is by far the best one: it is light, sturdy, powerful (loads of mA) and noiseless.
I use it to power all my strymons (Timeline, Mobius, BigSky) and the Whammy DT
