Logical match for my new B9---there is a difference ---a little more snap and edge for use in our quartet. With my synthetic reeds it is for me the best set up ever. Top end could be touch brighter but no real complaints as the bottom end is amazing.

Optimal leaf screw for the V16 mouthpiece for baritone saxophone
The M / O leaf screw for the Vandoren V16 mouthpiece for baritone saxophone is significantly lighter than the matching Optimum leaf screw. In comparison, it plays more freely than the optimum. You just feel less leaf screw. The Optimum takes more influence on the game and brings possibly a little more stability. The various pressure plates of the Optimum can also be used to vary the feeling of playing - best to try out both leaf screws! Both can be quickly and easily fixed with only one screw. I chose the M / O leaf screw and play it on a V16 B7 mouthpiece with Vandoren ZZ 2,5er or 3er sheets. As an alternative ligature for this mouthpiece, there is also the Vandoren leather blade screw (also with different pressure plates) or possibly other leather blade screws, which I have not tried, however, because I find the combination with the M / O prima.
