V-Pick Nexus - the fat thing !!!!
Meanwhile, I am the V-Picks decayed and meanwhile, I maintain, a rather handsome collection, especially if one times the price considered. 16 pieces, with three of my favorites being double. With about 6 I run constantly through the area - you could be spontaneously invited to a session. Unfortunately, however, this is about 40 EUR, with which I run through the area. A madness when you consider that it is a crude plectrum.
But to Nexus. It's fat. Really thick! You have to get used to grasping. Since I have the thick and large picks anyway, this was not a problem. It is well in the hand and I have just sat for a while in the summer sun and gedudelt, speak a little transpiriert, nevertheless I did not feel that it slips. Pleasantly, I find that the nexus can build official pressure, but it also well, to play softly and "tender". The rounded corners and edges give the game an official suppleness. I think it's a fast plectrum. Due to the roughened edges you have a wonderful attack, which I find in the V-Picks simply great. I've now used it on an acoustic guitar and an electric guitar. Both works well. Powerful chord "hit" on the acoustics, hybrid picking, arpeggios on the electric guitar. It all sounds wonderful. The only problem I have with the Nexus is the "pointed" form. I usually play directly over the mid-pickup of my hatch and often come to the PickUp itself. Of course, this also happened with other picks, which have the same shape. With the rounded V-picks (eg Snake or Diamond) it's okay. So I will shortly get a hatch with 2 humbuckers to eliminate the problem, because of my V-picks I will not separate anymore! ;)
