Nice bridge, rubbish pack
Look, these bridges and tailpieces are excellent, but they come delivered in a nasty cardboard blister pack that looks like it's off the cheapest Chinese fake, laughable given the cost of the kit. There are no instructions for installing whatsoever. Go to Tonepros website to find installation instructions and you find a stern instruction that your warranty will be invalidated if you don't use the supplied special tool to install and adjust. What tool? There isn't one in the nasty pack! So what size holes do I drill? Tonepros don't tell me, they have a discussion about how some people like to drill one size, others have different views! These guys make the thing and they don't have a recommendation of what size holes to drill!

Very professional
Very good. Sturdy and solid. Made my bridge pickup sound a bit fuller and the guitar, an Epihone Les Paul Custom Pro, sound warmer overall, which I wasn't quite expecting. I bought it mainly because I wanted a black bridge with my black guitar, but I got more than that.

A quality replacement set
I used this set to replace the old one of an epiphone les paul special ii. At this point I was to mention that this Epiphone model has many design flaws and one of it in my case is that there was a misalignment on the stoptail and the new one did not fit (which by the way has the standard dimensions for the epiphone les paul models and not only). So the easy way was to file the inside of the stoptail to fit it. Another thing to consider is the sleeves that fit in the body. My advice is to leave the old ones inside since the removal will take away slightly some wood material and the new ones will have more ''air" around them than it should. In any case, feel free to try it. Overall this is a good set, especially the tune bridge feels sturdy some intonation issues that I had with the old one, are now long gone. As for the price, I think it is overpriced imo.

added to an epi lp custom along with bare knuckle pups, improved sound and look massively... got rid of gold! yuck!

Really nice hardware awful packaging.
The bridge is a good weight and is a solid upgrade from the cheap stuff on my old LTD Viper-50. I’m not too sure if the locking mechanism helps all that much but it is nice to not have the stop tail fall off when changing strings. The only real gripe I have with this product is the horrendous packaging which makes it look like a cheap counterfeit instead of a premium piece of hardware. It also doesn’t come with any instructions but honestly it isn’t rocket science to install.
