The rack comes pre-assembled! You don't have to do anything, but screw your units in, with the included screws!
The colour is not black though, it's dark grey / rat like.
Looks beautiful with my t.racks power protection and the SE-1X. !!!

Very nice indeed!
I just got 2x of these and i'm really impressed on how good they look!
Comes pre-mounted so you dont have to do a thing , just install your equipment and you are good to go.
Robust and not very heavy.
I bought a bigger single studio furniture before , but now i have 2 of these instead (on on each side of the screens).

Perfect product

Awesome Rack
I use it at my home studio, I like the screws can move upward and downward so I can tiny adjust the equipments as some of the rack gears are slightly taller or shorter than the others. And it's super convenience that I can move the gear up and down without unscrewing it. Thanks to the Railway, so that I don't need to unscrew all the gears, sometime it is a nightmare.
Quality is perfect, solid builded. And it gives enough depth so that it can cover the unit which has great depth, such as UAD Apollo.
Most importantly -- Price. Not expensive.

I've bought two of these for my new table and now I have a complete and convenient workspace.
Each rack holds up to 4 devices (depending on their sizes) and they are the perfect height for my JBL monitors which are placed on them. The bulid quality is great, I have no issues with the nuts so far. I like the fact that they have small legs underneath which are covered with a soft material so it doesn't leave any scratches to the surface while moving around the table.
All in all, a nice looking and convenient desktop rack.

Excellent unit!
Does exactly what it should, no problems at all! Very sturdy, perfect for a small project studio with not much outboard gear. Very happy I got it!

A solid piece
I bought this several years ago, and have been very happy with it.
Solidly built. Easy access to the back. Most importantly, it's a piece of furniture that helps to camouflage rack units as something that can belong in a home. Works well for the purpose.

Beautiful and well built
Beautiful and well built 4 U rack shelf. Very nice way of holding your rack gear in a neat and tidy way. Because let's face it?it's distracting to have a messy workflow and ergonomics matter. It's nice to be able to focus on creating music rather than being annoyed that your stuff is all over the place. A 500-series rack would be an excellent fit with this, either with an additonal 1U unit or with a blind rack cover. If you're using a lap top, this rack stand would also serve as a great stand for that?simply place the computer on top of it and perhaps a secondary larger monitor on the side.

Good solid, stylish rack enclosure
I bought two of these to sit on my desk either side of my mixer. I initially thought these might be a bit pricey for what they are when looking at them on the site, but I took the plunge.
First impressions were, nicely made, finished and sturdy, and comes with bolts and plastic washers (nice). I was apprehensive about the rack system itself. I'd personally not seen the system before. I was however pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to fit units into it. The 'receptor nut's have a sort of spring loaded recess which makes finding them with the bolts really easy. I also like the vertical flexibility it gives you to position your gear if you need it to seat non standard units.
Overall, I couldn't be happier with these racks. They look great and are very practical and sturdy. Much better than anything I could make myself, which was something I considered.
