It is amazing

The bowl is absolutely amazing. The sound is extremely fabulous. Vibrations touch every millimetre of may body and spirit. I am grateful.

Very deep vibration

The deep vibrational sound and tone of this bowl gives me chills everytime I play it. Really good vibrational field and long lasting as well. Using it in sound baths. Good tool to balance and become grounded. Thank you

M
Decent bowl
Marcus-J 28.02.2024
I like this bowl. It was smaller diameter than I was expecting ( and just under 2kg), with a higher pitch than I was expecting too - much higher than the sample clip) . Still I got a nice C3 @132hz, so am happy with that.

It's well made, though the lacquer is particularly poorly applied. I got this at the same time as a Peter Hess phKS9-G which was nearly the same size and pitch, but half the weight. I ultimately preferred the sound of the heavier Thomann bowl, so and sending the PH back.

If you want a lower note, I'd suggest the 2300g thomann or better still the 3kg - which goes much lower. I think I will get a 2300 as well as I already have the 3kg as it should sit well between this 2kg.

The bundled rubbing mallet is a bit rubbish. Definitely make sure you have some alternatives. It sounds particularly good with a large gong mallet.

LN
Poor tone and rubbing
Lord Nibbler 18.04.2023
Thin walls, feels like a larger bowl lathed out. Sustain and quality of tone poor, rubbing not much better. Might return it.
