A bargain strap that does its job.
dcalde78, 09.04.2018
This strap came in a starter kit containing a number of things. For the price, it does its job well enough. It's not the most comfortable, and for some reason the ends of mine had hard plastic splinters coming out of it that I would always catch against my fingers when taking off my bass guitar. If you're in a pinch it will do the job, but I think it's worth spending the extra money and going for an Ernie Ball nylon strap or something similar. The ends are better quality, the nylon itself is softer and more flexible and is much longer than this.

At the end of the day it does what it says on the tin and holds your guitar on you. But there's better that you can buy, and I would suggest doing that.

A budget strap, don't expect more than you pay for.
Someone who likes it old-fashioned, 17.11.2019
I got this strap in a kit with a TE-20, and used it for about three months before upgrading to a nice comfy leather strap.
It works fine, and as a backup it's okay. However: the Tele is quite a heavy instrument, and this strap is not forgiving to weighty gear. It held up just fine and still looks fresh as new, but that sore left shoulder is a thing I can't easily overlook. After upgrading to unpadded leather that issue is completely gone, so I'm fairly certain it was the strap.
To summarise: It's fine as a backup strap or for someone who usually plays sitting down, but don't hang a heavy instrument on it and expect it to be comfortable. It won't be.

A bit short for me
Fredrik J, 05.11.2019
I am a rather large person so this strap ended up being a bit short for my liking. There is no padding so it might hurt a bit when used for a long while.
The leather that hold on to the guitar feel strong and tight so I doubt it will slip off.
Overall it will work until I get a longer strap. And for most people it will probably be long enough.

Spares
strumpick, 17.05.2018
I think that its always a good idea to have a spare of everything whether your gigging or a student or even a teacher in a school /music college.
These straps are fine and if you get caught out and forget/lose or break your main strap, its a real good idea to pick up one of these from Thomann and have it in your gig bag.

It holds the guitar
Donaven, 15.04.2019
I am a brand new player so take my opinon with a grain of salt. This strap is a little short for me but I am a big guy. It should fit most people without problems. My guitar is neck-heavy and the nylon has absolutely no grip so the guitar slides down a lot. It is a cheap nylon strap. If you want any more then you will have to pay a little more.

Not very comfortable but no chance of it breaking
Liam8220, 17.10.2015
It's a nice solid strap, it's nylon so you can't really expect comfort from it. Having said that I used to play a lot of contact sports so my shoulders tend to get sore a lot easier. If you want a basic strap I'd definitely trust this, although look elsewhere if comfort matters

Nothing fancy...
06.01.2015
Title says it all. I needed a strap to play my mandolin live (I usually just play at home sitting down!) and this was chosen to suit my budget constraints. It is a fairly standard nylon strap but it was surprisingly comfortable due to the width and is still going strong almost a year later!

Good buy for the price.

A bit tight
JamesF, 12.03.2014
An ok budget strap.Comfortable in use.Wouldnt trust it for gigging or with a more expensive guitar as I'm not sure how strong or secure it would be for extended use.One more point the strap ends are very tight leading too a bit off a struggle fitting too strap buttons.

Cheap and cheerful
AlanG, 24.10.2016
Not the greatest strap ever made, but you don't really get to complain at this price. Found it fairly hard to get this on over the guitars strap buttons, but on the other hand its not going to fall off.

simply good, very hard leather parts, very narrow holes for the electric bass, but once it is on it is difficult to get off

Thomann Nylonstrap
Mark3012, 27.09.2014
This came as part of a bundle with a bass guitar and amp. It's perfectly serviceable and I'm sure would be OK for guitar, but I'd prefer something a bit wider for bass guitar as with prolonged use it's not comfortable. Come on Thomann, how about a wider strap for bass bundles? It's OK though, no-one's going to die from using this. Unless they deliberately hang themselves with it. In which case you can't really blame Thomann, can you?

Mr Fibble, 21.01.2018
Won't be using it to be fair unless I tie my Mrs up. Not likely to ever see my guitar to be fair.

Does the job
borsothy, 01.01.2018
As you can expect, it's a budget strap, so nothing fancy here, just simply does the job. It's smells a bit weird tho fresh out of the box.

Does its job very well.
HugoDisasters, 17.12.2013
A simple nylonstrap that does its job very well. It's affordable and durable for what it looks like and works just fine with both lighter and heavier guitars. I recommend it for people who are looking for a simple strap that does the job. Because this one certainly does without any complications.

Backup strap
23.01.2015
i have nice straps so i got this for fault redundancy and to give to people when they forget their guitar strap.
I wouldn't want to wear this for long periods it is not painful it just don't feel great but it won't break, it doesn't slip and thats using a heavy bass guitar.
Its worth the cash, but its almost free....

Basic, decent strap
26.01.2015
No frills here, but this strap works as it should. The ends attached to the guitar strap pins just fine, and are nice and tight. The length is easily adjustable using the clip/bracket provided, and although the strap material is just simple, basic thin nylon, it's incredibly strong and won't break in use.
Sure, it's not the most comfortable strap in the world, but at the price it costs, it's well worth it, even as a spare.

MikaelS, 24.01.2014
I bought this for my kids acoustic guitar. It still works as it should (after >2 years) so it is ok for the very low price I guess. Buy it unless you want something fancier

Price is the only note worthy feature of this strap. It is not particularly uncomfortable and it is not particularly poorly made however it is a little bit simplistic and rough around the edges. Unless you are absolutely against spending any more money I would not recommend this strap.

Not the most comfortable strap, and seemed to catch off things a lot. What more, it began to flay before long as was quickly replaced. Worked for it's purpose, but there are certainly better.

Does the job
JoshV, 07.12.2013
This strap does what it is designed to do - hold your guitar on your shoulder. It doesn't have a design, it feels a bit flimsy and is not padded at all, but it does the job, though if you can I would recommend getting a more padded strap, especially if you plan on gigging!
