I am very pleased with this instrument. I bought it as a second instrument to my Eb bass but I find I can't put it down! It blows easily and sounds good and I find the rotary valves much easier for quick passages than piston valves. I will be using it a lot over the Christmas period for outdoor carolling and with my band.
Delivery was quick to the UK and tracking at the German end was efficient - less so when it got to Royal Mail Parcel force in the UK! The packing carton was slightly damaged and undone when it arrived but the instrument was Ok in its case. My only criticism is the mouthpiece which could be better but that is probably a personal thing anyway. Thank you Thomann for another good product.

Good beginner instrument

I'm a trumpet player normally but decided to try something new so as a complete beginner I'm very satisfied with this instrument. Valves are a bit sticky on delivery but a bit of the supplied valve oil did the trick.

Ho acquistato lo strumento per il prezzo e le forme sapendo già di non aver acquistato uno strumento professionale.

Lo strumento si presenta bene, nella custodia rigida e di buona fattura. Premetto che lo strumento lo suono a periodi alterni da circa un anno e posso valutarne oggi i pregi e difetti.

PRO:
- Intonato, non ci avrei scommesso ma rispetto alle altre marche è un gradino più su. Bisogna lavorare molto sui vari armonici e posizioni per non farli risultare afoni. Strumento leggero e di effetto, buona la meccanica delle valvole.

CONTRO:
- La sua leggerezza è la sua pecca, ad ogni piccolo colpo si ammacca facilmente. Nel mio caso anche la dicitura thomann sullo strumento risulta stampata con evidente disallineazione. La meccanica, buona nel contesto generale, arranca leggermente sul secondo pistone. Si risolve facilmente con una bella pulizia.

Nel complesso, rapporto qualità/prezzo OTTIMO!
