Tenorsax TLBGMG

17.01.2017
Hello Tenorsaxer!
Have played so far on a Leihinstrument of Jupiter.
In the shop of Thomann I saw the TSBBS black / silver, played and bought immediately. Great look! At the home test, however, there were big problems with the deep sounds from the G down. (Flutter) Unfortunately, the instrument had to send back. The employee from Bläserabt. Was very friendly with the reverse processing. Thank you!
I am on the TLBGMG gold matt / gold shining ..
The look is very good, processing as well. The sound is ok. The test reveals that the low E is difficult to play again. I am still in the cause research. However, it can also lie at the base or blade.
Have bought in their shop a whole dozen different leaves and am just when trying. The best thing to play is Vandoren 2.5 Java, Java Red and Classic. Amazingly good also Rico 2.5. The sound at the expensive Legere Studio and Rico Plasticover is not clear enough with me.
I would like to read other reviews.
Greeting !!

Why buy more?

20.01.2017
Really it's an excellent sax.
I am not a pro, but I am playing amateur for a few years. I played mainly "Vintage" (Morning Handcraft, Conn New Wonder), in my debut a Chinese Alto without a mark, and I could try a Tenor Selmer.
This sax has nothing to envy the "upscale" which costs 4 to 5 times more expensive.
The response is very fast, a great ease of emission of bass to treble. The sound is as warm as I like it.
Still to see the longevity, but it looks sturdy ...
It is relatively heavy.

Finally, the look is top and it is provided really ready to play: a real rigid box, a spout worthy of the name (a S80 C *), a correct ligature of matching to the sax. The cordelier is not top but can help out. I just bought an Alto of the same series, and it was supplied with 2 different Thomann reeds (it's good to test).
