Smooth sound, and easy to play!
Louie Tafoya 01.12.2021
This is a great ocarina for beginners and the already accustomed ocarina player. It's ten holes, so the range is slightly limited to the standard 12 hole C3, however, you still have a huge range of repertoire to play. The size of this C3 is also a bit smaller than most of the others in my collection, so if you have extremely large hands, it might take a little time to get used to. For me, I was able to easily play tunes on it like my other C3's within a few minutes. It also uses European/Italian fingerings, so if you're used to 12 hole Asian ocarinas, make sure to take into account the different notation. The ocarina itself was packaged well, with a soft padded case, nice box, and songbook/tutorial included. An amazing price for an amazing instrument, and perfect for anyone wanting to take a leap into the ocarina world. Thanks!

Excellent Ocarina for the Price
Adil Ahsan 08.12.2017
For the price, I would say it's an excellent Ocarina. Doesn't require the use of acute bend for the high notes, but it might be a little loud for some people, as its breath requirements I would say are medium... Looks beautiful, sounds nice and the accompanying booklet was also very useful...

Interesting fact, it's actually the same design as the Galliani Ocarina by Rotter, just the color is different. I personally prefer this color, so in case you're looking for the best low-cost Ocarina available, I don't think you need to look any further. :)

It is a classic Alto C (C3) 10 holes ocarina by Rotter. No 'flaws', even if the lower E (Mi) is a little bit 'unexpected' or 'weak', and requires time to become used in order to play it effectively. It is a quite 'unusual' aspect of this ocarina, affecting a little bit the extemporaneous development of a performance. If compared with the Rotter Alto C (C3) "Fabio Gallini" 10 holes ocarina, this ocarina seems a little bit lower in quality, but that does not mean it is a poor ocarina. It is a very good musical instrument with its particular 'character', and it requires a bit to become used to it. The tone is very good and appropriate, and it can give a lot of satisfaction to the player over time and also for 'sudden' indoor and outdoor exhibitions.

Z... Fans aufgepasst!
DanielL 13.10.2009
