Does the Job
vargeise, 10.06.2019
I am happy with the product and does the job it's indented to be doing.
The cable is packed away after each use (microphone to mixing desk) and the product is able to take stress of frequent use.Strongly recommend this product

Good audio cable
IvarsOzolsDB, 13.06.2013
I have used this cable for PA work and after extensive use I'd say it is a good product for a price. Ideally I would choose this for some stationary application where you plug it in and forget about it, not wind-unwind it, constantly step on it on stage etc. Connector quality is good and durable, they fit and connect good. In heavy duty use screws, that secure connector to cable, may come loose and fall out, make sure to check them once in a while. Also if your singer (in case cable is connected to mic) is aerobics teacher or jumping rabbit on stage, in heavy use cable conductor may break near connectors so you'd need to cut it and resolder it. As for conductor quality, I don't believe in gold-silver-whatever-unobtanium made cables and all that myths, it's a cable all right, it works and it works good.

Overall it's good cable for a price. For stationary use it's perfect. For intensive PA & stage work I would recommend to cough up few euros and buy a PRO Snake one (TPM 10).

I purchased a number of these cables 3 years ago. Some are going strong without a glitch and others have needed resoldering near the collectors so they clearly are not all the same. Overall I think a great product for the price but maybe the quality control could be a little better in the manufacture process. And, for the record, I look after my cables. Always coil them correctly (over under) etc... I think perhaps they could be better suited to an environment where they don't move around so much (maybe a studio of something) as opposed to being on the road and uncoiled/coiled every day for weeks at a time. Perhaps not the most robust cable out there. Anyway, despite that, think they are basically a good product. One expects a cable to fail every once and a while.

Cost-Effective
Guz12, 26.06.2018
I received it as a "gift" from a creative bundle. It has been in heavily use since 2010 and still working fine!

PROS: durable, good conectors
CONS: a bit more rigid than the other cables I have.

A long cheap XLR
Kitapci, 12.06.2014
Being a college student I'm on a fairly tight budget so I couldn't afford to buy high quality cabling as that would subtract money away from other important equipment like microphones. These were a good purchase, they're not noisy and they're very long. I've even constantly had them on and off the reel, stood on them, folded them and had them tangle up and it doesn't seem like there's been any damage.

With that being said I can tell that in a more intense environment such as a live sound situation with people constantly standing on them, pulling them and more, I could imagine them breaking fairly fast.

I would recommend these for anyone on a budget but only for situations that aren't too intense. For live sound I'd recommend more durable cables as it's better to be safe than sorry.

Basic cable for bands/installations
jansilh, 10.12.2018
Great value for that price! Cable is ok for bands, rehearsals rooms or static installations. XLR's are quite ok, but don't expect Neutrik quality for this price. Cable is really easy to organize (holds desired radius perfectly). No NEGs :)

It's good enough and I didn't notice anything bad about it. Good quality/price ratio here.

It's ok
08.02.2015
For the price its pretty good. Mic lags a little because the cable is a little wobbily but its easily fixable with some tape :) Just use some tape and you have yourself a good cable :)
Edit: A year later and it still works, still wobbily and laggy but duct tape fixed the problem.

Great product, bad soldering job...
18.08.2016
Seems really good, just sad that I had to solder both xlr ends, because the signal got lost on them within months, and i did'nt even use them that much... Now they seem to last very well...

Can't fault em!
25.03.2016
You can't really fault a workhorse cable like the snake sm10. Great for jobs where a lot of cables are needed but they won't break the bank - let's face it, funds are scarce in the world of music these days. I'm a big fan of high quality gear, but I'm also a fan of quality, budget gear that does the job!

lasting well
Darryl, 22.01.2016
Out of all of these cables i bought eight years ago I have only last a few to wear and tear. I am happy with the sound quality of these cables and were well with the money.

The quality at these prices is great.

Great microphone cables, really cheap!
21.12.2015
Since i'm a drummer and i do a lot of live shows, 2 years ago i had to buy 7 or 8 new mic cables for my drum kit, long enough to go from my drum kit to the stage mixer. So, i decided to buy this one because they looked great and pretty cheap, considering they are 10 meters long.
I've been using them on and off, for 2 years now and they still work, they didn't break yet and they have been through some hard times, but they still work. Definitely worth the money, i'll buy them again if they die someday soon.

Kept as spares, only used on rare occasions
10.03.2017
These are decent cables for the price but to be honest, we've only ever had the need to use them on a couple of occasions - where we had a higher demand for mics than usual.

As such I can't really comment on how they hold up long term but certainly for the light use we've needed them for, they've performed well and haven't let us down.

decent budget cables or useful backups.

Perfect For Live Use
Joel760, 04.09.2013
This came as part of a bundle i got the other day, and it will be used this weekend at a live event. As its 10m long its perfect for using during a live event. This means I can save my great cables for the studio and not have to worry about them getting road use. Thanks guys I know this cable will get a lot of use over the in coming weeks/months!

Does the job
Tradman, 14.10.2015
This does the job but I don't think I'd rely on it for anything too important. It is a cheap lead so probably won't last too long being wound up and used all the time. I bought this one because it will stay in the one position until the end of time. It is running from an amp to an overhead mic in a bar and will likely never be moved. Not ideal for gigging or in the studio but perfect for this kind of job.

Not bad for cheap cables
AngeloNeto, 18.02.2016
I have owed many of these throughout the years. They decent enough. they aren't the worst cables out there but not the best either. This came with my sm57 but In my opinion I would spend a little more on the Neutrik ones. There's no audible difference between them but the Neutriks last longer.
