Decent price but cable twists too easily and is too grippy
These cables are built fine but the outer casing is rubbery and grippy. That doesn't help it loop evenly in a nice circle when wound.
Also there's something about the stiffness of the inner conductors or the shielding which makes the cable keep its shape too much. The shape of the loop in the picture is what you're stuck with.
It's hard to explain but other XLR cables I have easily wind into a nice neat loop and hang in your gathering hand. They therefore lay easily in my cable box with the others. These do not. When you're winding them after a gig you're battling them to hang nice and freely as you loop them.
Also as you do the 'under' loop, the grippy surface fights you.
It's a shame because they're good value. If you're installing them and forgetting them then they're fine but not if you want an easy install and get out.

Long cable but didnt last long
This cable was fine while it was working, its very long so its good for the stage. However it simply stopped functioning after 6 months for some mystery reason. Too bad.

Quickly faulty and messy
• Gets quickly twisted and messy
• Had problems with the sound within a couple of months...
• For the price, it's not a risky investment to experience it and judge it by yourself. :)

Its cheap and good
For this price it's more than enough! But if you into Hi-End thing - it's a trash or for tests.

works okay.
Good for the price. Not top quality but you get what you pay for. Have used for gigs without problem.

Great cable
The cable is great, but the material feels cheap. It is not as easy to coil the cable as the more expensive ones. But if you are fine with the material, the cable gets the job done

Not the best option for professional work.
You should not expect very high quality and clear sound from such a price. As a consumable for training beginners - this is normal, anyway, in the learning process you will need many such inexpensive things.

Nice but not Pro
Definitely a nice feel and look. They work nicely for home studios but I wouldn't rely on them too much for durability and isolation.

Some reliability problems, sometimes mic cuts out.
Bought maybe eight or ten of these thomann mic cables for gigs, quality varies. As long as the vocalist does not touch the mic, they are ok. Drop outs and clicks occur with different brands of mic. So we bought a line tester from Thomann to test every cable, all cables tested as ok.
the plastic fixing may be to blame, there was another system before with screws that got loose and lost, now another screwless type replaced that, but both types of cable gave some problems.
Rang Thomann who recommended more expensive cables.
Got one to quality cable for comparison and yes, the more expensive cables are better, no dropouts or clicks.
