TC Electronic Hall of Fame

Guitar Effect

The TC Chorus is a true classic and counts as one of the most copied hall sounds altogether. With it's flexibility and analogue warmth this pedal is unmatched.

Digital technology is on the rise in the new generation of the TC Electronics Effects; especially with hall / reverb effects that has been the way to go since decades. It simply is the better way to create realistic sound spaces.

The "Hall of Fame" -hall offers opportunities in a small box, previously requiring large and expensive rack devices. 10 basic sounds can be varied in pre-delay, decay and tone and simply sound fantastic. Who decides to realise distortion with the amp, should definitely opt to to hook the pedal into the FX.Loop (which is self explanatory, otherwise you will notice). Again, the new TC Electronics feature: With USB connection to the internet "TonePrint Sounds" and software updates can be loaded - possibly the future of music electronics?

The reverb pedal I hate least!

22.10.2015
Reverb is a tricky thing. After doing a bunch of research, I narrowed it down to this and the Digitech Polara. After the first round, I ended up choosing the Polara after the HOF. After a few days, I had buyer's remorse...the Polara had more settings, including reverse reverb (cool), shimmer (not a great implementation), and a better spring setting. But they all sounded way too digital and processed, and even at the lowest settings, it wasn't subtle enough. Levels were high and decays were long. I ended up going back to the HOF, and I'm happy I did. All-in-all, this is a versatile, good sounding pedal, with lots of options, good configurability, and endless features thanks to the very cool TonePrint feature. Check out the Soren Andersen TonePrint for the HOF...it's really interesting and super cool. The spring setting is a little disappointing, but the modulated reverb is gorgeous. I saw two shoegaze bands recently, one of whom was Alcest, and they were both using these. The modulated 'verb is perfect for those sounds. Also, even though I complain about the spring reverb, I also had a Danelectro Spring King for a short while, but didn't like the slapback echo that you couldn't turn off, and I figured that I could get a pretty good representation of the sound with the HOF...so it can't be THAT bad! I still dream about having a separate spring reverb unit, but this does everything else very well.

Very good sound!

06.04.2017
I use this product just for little space effect when don?t use my delay as a reverb effect. The spring setting I think is very good after the amplifier?s loop. When I use it before my amp, after my drives, I mostly use the room setting and I am very pleased with the sound. I think the toneprint ability beats all other reverbs in this price.
I like the smoothness of (true) bypass button. This button is so soft that I can?t be sure if I have pressed it. I have other pedals that make an annoying sound when I press the bypass button. A big advance of that pedal is its size. It takes up very little space on pedalboard.
Finally I like the existence of tone knob. Is good to have a tone at the end of your chain.
