No matter what hi-hat I use, if the rod fits - I use this clutch. Have tried other brands, more expensive and cheaper ones, but for me - this just hits the sweet spot. Never fails, never unscrews.
Downsides? Maybe the lack of quick release, but I do prefer it to QHC7.

Got this to replace old clutch as it was worn. New clutch is tight on the stand, hats still maintain their sizzle.
