Great sound in its range but beware your finger tips.

Robbo, 09.07.2017
Firstly I am writing this as someone who plays stripped down acoustic music on the circuit. This guitar ticks many boxes for its price range. Firstly it's a beautiful looking guitar the dark stain sets this apart from many in the range. It's construction is also great as you would expect from Takamine. Lastly the main strength of this guitar - in my opinion - is the sound. It's loud and presents quite a balanced frequency range with pleasant highs and pronounced lows that you can encourage by changing your playing style. As standard I believe it has gauge10s which are very bright but will bring me on to the weakness. Yes the biggest weakness with this guitar is quite a heavy action. I'm not sure if this could have been refined more in the factory but even my rhino-skin fingers were sore after an hour of playing. This is why I put quality as good because I believe there is enough play on the bridge to have lowered the strings without affecting the sound in the factory. Overall it's a great guitar and makes a lot of great noise. Lovely guitar.

It sounds luxury

Nieves M., 17.01.2016
I love. For the price, you can have a takamine with an impeccable mechanics, and comfortable to play.
It is beautiful and very comfortable.
Its resonance is typical of takamine, it is the third dreadnoutgh I have and without doubt, there are not many so good at this price.
