Does the job but poor construction

Like the title says, it does the job but the build quality isn't the best. The fastening knobs are of poor quality. I feel like I have to tighten them so much to be secure that somewhere down the line the threads are bound to strip. Also, it's not very user friendly. The "engraved detented positions" can simply be ignored. The engraved scale is just sliding around and almost impossible to use.

The price is low compared to similar (and better!) products. I guess you get what you pay for. For basic stereo setups where precise angles aren't critical I guess it is ok. At least until it breaks... time will show how the build quality holds up.

Ok for a home/project studio but certainly not a professional tools.

Excellent for stereo recordings

Excellent microphone bar for stereo recordings. It's really amazing. Build quality looks like K&M, there is a lot of possibility in movement, and any microphone fits very well. I ordered this in combination with the Superlux MS200, but I was not happy of the MS200 and I returned it back (replaced with a much lighter Manfrotto). But I have to say that this stereo bar fits all my needs. Very nice that each step is lockable (the scale you see are not centimeters, but steps) and also the horizontal angle of the microphone has 'steps' of 15 degrees. Very useful when you want to setup a NOS system (90 degrees of angle). I do it in no brainer, very quickly. You can also hand it with wires, it has that option too.
The cons are that it's a bit heavy, so you need a good stand.
Apart from that, it's an excellent product.

Sturdy, large stereo bar

While this stereo bar comes with nice gradients and angles for various near-coincident techniques I don't use any of that. I use this for AB or Blumleins with big heavy mics like ribbons and LDC's and it works. Great. And it's cheap.

Anyone interested in doing location recording or stereo drum mic'ing that goes beyond the "two pencil mics above the cymbals" paradigm should pick one up. This plus a decent, sturdy mic stand and you're set. They go from taking 30 minutes of wiggling two stands about 5 minutes.

Downsides? the little indents to space the two points are a little far apart. You can make up for by jiggling your mic in its mic stand. For vertical setups like Blumleins where the capsules are already offset, it's not much of a big deal anyway.

belle barre de couplage stéréo

barre de couplage stéréo bien pensée et très pratique. Fabrication solide.
Les deux plots de montage des pinces micros se déplacent sur la règle en s'enclenchant dans dans de légers creux et un blocage permet de les serrer à l'endroit voulu. Les positions sont repérées par un chiffre.
Ces plots sont légèrement rotatifs (quelques positions à enclenchement de part et d'autre de la position centrée) et pourvu d'un système de blocage aussi.
Tout ceci est bien pensé et très pratique, tout est possible du système large AB au XY ou ORTF.

Détails qui fâchent (un peu...) :
- les plots de fixations des pinces sont en filetages 5/8" et les adaptateurs 5/8 vers 3/8 ne sont pas fournis...
- du fait de leur montage, les plots ne peuvent pas être libres de tourner, ce qui implique de visser les pinces (au lieu de tenir la pince et visser rapidement le plot comme avec un pied de micro classique). C'est assez galère avec des micros montés dans des suspensions...
- les embouts en bout de règle sont indémontables se qui empêche un éventuel montage de deux plots supplémentaires pour un montage 4 micros, dommage car la barre est solide ! (encore faudrait-il pouvoir obtenir des pièces détachées...).
