A useful tool
Novelty, 10.06.2019
The microphone generates warm sound with little distortion, similar to other dynamic microphones. The flexible boom arm makes it easy to place the microphone optimally. The output from headphones sounds pleasant, certainly good enough for monitoring and short-term music listening.

Unfortunately, the microphone arm does not pivot, which complicates storage of this rather large headset. Also, the cables used to connect microphone and headphones are close together, meaning that one will need an extention for devices where the XLR and headphone inputs are not in close proximity.

Works fine, but has flaws
mdinbcn, 15.05.2020
The pros:

- Sound quality on the headphone side is more than OK. Not great, but better than acceptable.
- The mic never pops and I've never had a problem with sibilance.

Now the cons:
- As seen in the specs, the frequency response of the mic isn't stellar. You will sound a bit like you're on an old phone.
- Cable noise: If can keep your head perfectly still while using this, then you won't have much noise from the cable. I use a clothespin to keep the cable from moving enough to cause noticeable noise.
- Minor complaint: The clamping force on the headphones is a little much, and thus may not be comfortable for long.

Comfortable and overal good quality
Morsus, 09.07.2019
After one year use:
The feel is great, I can put it on for hours without any discomfort. Maybe for guys/girls with bigger ears can feel the edges over time but it is wrapped with comfy material everywhere it makes contact with your head.
The sound, well, it does not excel in low ranges but there is no distortion at all on high volumes. Mid and high frequencies are clear and well articulated.
The cable is sturdy, you can have 6.3 and 3.5 jack as an input and standard xlr for the mic, which is also very well insulated and gives a nice natural voice (mostly speaking). The big sponge filters out breathing noise and fan winds.
The overall insulation is impressive, almost nothing escapes out when wearing and I mean very high levels are reduced to near zero and it is also true for the opposite way, almost nothing can be heard from outside.
If you love fat low ranges, this is not for you. Except that, everything is superb.

Used during live shows for soundcheck and communicating with stage. Microphone is sensitive enough to pick up small words or expression noises and yet still be heard over the loudness of a FOH PA. Sound quality is good enough, slightly lacking on bottom end but mid to highs is good enough for quick line checks. Prolonged usage may start to press on your ears, but only after three or four hours
