Killer Starved Fuzz Pedal
BitcrushedTiger, 09.10.2019
Recently picked this pedal up after admiring it on youtube for ages and it's really solid. Aside from looking extremely cool, it brings two effects to my crowded board for the price of one.

The main thing with this pedal is definitely the fuzz side, which is really nice, sizzling, sputtering, velcro style fuzz. It's not going to do fat, sustained fuzz, so look elsewhere for that, but if you want something to bring a bit of staccato rip to your arsenal, this pedal smashes it.

The other side is a nice little overdrive. The only downside to the overdrive side is that it doesn't have its own volume and the fuzz side is considerably louder, so I mainly use the drive as an always-on boost, as it has a really nice, highly adjustable parametric EQ section that allows you to emphasize different frequencies, or trim the mud from your mix. Then when I need some fuzz madness, I hit the switch.

You can blend the two sides however you like (I have kept them separate so far), and then easily flip the blend proportions with the left foot switch.

You can also get the Stone Deaf expression pedal (only their proprietary one will work) if you want to get some filter sweeps and other sounds, but I haven't played around with this myself as I don't have room on my board for a dedicated expression pedal, but demos sound pretty neat.

Anyway, I gig with 10 pedals and this one plays nicely with all of them, as well as bringing some really distinctive, musical flavour to the mix. Would love to get my hands on some more Stone Deaf gear, and would recommend this pedal to anyone looking for something a little different for their board.
