This LED stage light can now be seen on many stages where dance bands, DJs and solo entertainers perform. With relatively little effort (synonymous with the set-up time) you get colorful light, which with a DMX mixer or even more easily over fixed programs for atmosphere. For that one does not need a man at the light mixing console, which could however also not much more from the part, but this is not the purpose of the whole. I bought the Stairville Stage TRI LED as an addition to my (almost) identical Showtec MK II, which apparently is no longer available. Almost identical: the design, electronics and programs are the same, but the headlights are somewhat larger, which makes the part even heavier, the case supplied is identical, there is only another name on it. The Stairville part is about 75, - EUR cheaper than my Showtec, you also quickly notice why: I had to tighten several screws and nuts, especially at the connection of the cables with the headlight housing, as was "knitted with hot needle" Ie, speed is preceded by accuracy. Therefore also my deductions at the processing points. Nevertheless, my conclusion: Very practical principle, small space requirement during transport, fast assembly and dismantling, quasi idiotensicher in the operation, no noisy fans, hardly power consumption - this is just right at the moment the standard.
I bought the spotlight set with a slightly higher tripod. And that was good. The light output is - not just because of the price - more than neat. The seven 3 watt tri-color LEDs per headlight make beautiful clear bright colorful colors. No comparison to RGB LED, this is ALL THE OTHER! The white is naturally not so great, but for the beginning it is completely ok - for white light it needs other devices, which are unfortunately still somewhat more expensive in LED form. And white halogen light unfortunately has the known problems: greedy Stromfresser, they become hot and the heavy dimmerpacks annoy, that is old technology, which no one wants to have more. The construction of the Tri LED is not so super stable (the brackets are slightly dim, the price laughs), but for hobby bands sure enough, some care and good is it. Extremely compact, much smaller than the old Par sets, with an adequate bag for semiprofessional use.
In short: a great beginner set at a fair price. Once the band is allowed it will buy the second bar.
