Quality light for a low price. Does everything I hoped it would and more. I would highly recommend this light for install or touring. Very bright at 100% and covers the stage perfectly.

A true light storm

Dort wo bisher einzelne PAR 64er Farben mit sehr viel elektrischer Energie erzeugten, reicht nun ein Scheinwerfer mit gerade mal 60 Watt Anschlussleistung, um das ganze Farbspektrum perfekt bei hoher Lichtstärke zu erzeugen. Als besonders gut ist auch die Qualität der Farben zu bewerten. Sei es gelb, rot , blau oder ... alle Farben kommen sehr sauber.

Der Austrittswinkel des Lichtstrahls ist glücklicherweise so gewählt, dass man in 3 bis 4 m Entfernung eine vernünftig große Fläche ausleuchten kann - also besser als LED-Scheinwerfer mit einer "Spot - Charakteristik".

Fazit nach mehr als 2 Jahren Bühneneinsatz:

Wir besitzen insgesamt 12 Stück dieser Scheinwerfer, die bei zahlreichen Konzerten eingesetzt wurden. Sie ersetzen komplett unser ehemaliges farbiges Effektlicht [16 PAR 64 á 500 Watt => 8.000 Watt Anschlussleistung].

Drehstrom adé!

Mit rund 700 Watt schaffen wir es nun farbiges Effektlicht in allen Grundstimmungen. Sei es "gelb", "orange", "rot", "pink", grün oder "blau", alle eingestellten Farbwerte lassen sich über unser Software gestütztes DMX-System klar definieren und können bei Bedarf zu 100 % reproduziert werden.

Die Darstellung der Farbe "weiß" ist im Vergleich zu Halogen- oder Weißlicht-LED-Scheinwerfern mit diesem RGB-System nur bedingt gut zu realisieren. Das erzeugte "Weißlicht" wirkt immer künstlich und tendiert zu einem leicht "blau - violetten" Farbton [Hautfarbtöne wirken dadurch blass und unnatürlich].

Während der Veranstaltungen werden die Scheinwerfer nur "handwarm" und können daher sofort nach Veranstaltungsende abgebaut und verpackt werden.

Zum sehr wichtigen Thema Betriebssicherheit kann man sagen, dass wir in den über 2 Betriebsjahren der Scheinwerfer, nur einen Ausfall während eines Konzerts hatten (und das bei einer Gesamtzahl von rund 60 - 70 Konzerten). Leider mussten wir aber 2 Scheinwerfer direkt nach dem Kauf wieder zurücksenden, da sie im Auslieferungszustand nicht einwandfrei funktionierten - es war in beiden Fällen die Farbe blau defekt. Wie nicht anders erwartet, erhielten wie von Thomann sofort (!!!!!!) Ersatz. Perfekt.

Ein anderer Punkt der uns auffiel ist die Tatsache, dass sich die Scheinwerfer nicht "ruckelfrei" faden lassen, sei es von Lichtpult aus oder von einem dmx-PC-System. In beiden Fällen "springen" die Scheinwerfer sofort nach dem dmx-Lichtwert "0" hin zum dmx-Lichtwert "1", um mindestens 10 %. So ist ein konstantes ein- und ausfaden nicht perfekt möglich.

Angesichts des günstigen Anschaffungspreises ist dies aber zu akzeptieren.

Ein Tipp noch am Abschluss - sicher eingepackt sind die einzelnen Scheinwerfer in Transportsäcken für 30 cm große Spiegelkugeln.
