Smell isnt good, but not bad at all for this kind of price - not professional product. efficiency is amazing, I thought it will not gona be so good. summary - buy if you want to use for mibile discos, not for big events (because of smell).

Stairville E Fluid 5l
After almost 25 years of performing in the working mens clubs in England, and after many years of trying to sing through 'heavy' smoke machine fluids, Stairville E Fluid 5l has finally allowed me to be able to perform without choking, gasping and dying, whilst still allowing my lighting effects show to stand out. I used to get complaints from the audience when I used the heavy smoke machines, but now, I very rarely get a complaint. I understand that the majority of the audiences I perform to are of an elderly age, most of them reformed smokers, so the first sight of smoke to them, makes them revulse. I used to see them put beer mats over the tops of their drinks as they thought the heavy smoke would contaminate their drinks....Now, they rarely complain. I work in a country with much 'red tape' over lighting and smoke machines. This fluid has reformed the system which makes for a more enjoyable entertaining eveing. I get to show my lights off whilst performing, and the audience don't choke from my fluid. Everyone is happy!!!!! I am more than happy, I have worked hard to afford the lights I take out with me for my shows, so I'm ecstatic I get to show them off to their true potentional using Stairville E Fluid 5l. Fantastic
This fluid produces little or no smell. For the price, it is a bargain and a half. I have priced similar fluid in shops and have seen five litres at over ?30. For the price here on Thomann, it is a steal for the amount of fluid you are getting.
The bottle itself is sturdy enough with a nice strong cap to prevent leakage. The only thing I would recommend is that a funnel type device should be included as it can be quite hard to pour the fluid from this bottle into a fog machine without spilling.
This is the only minor compliant though.

Nice fluid for lasers and lights
I have used this fluid many times at kids parties,with lasers
and lights.It's great because it makes thick fog,with
just a simple laser or light you can make miracles.
The fog is thick and spreads very good and lasts for a
long time.No irritation on eyes or throat,does not affect your breathing even with a lot of usage.
Also the canister lasts for a long time,with a 5l you can make a lot of parties!
I strongly recommend this product!

The standard fluid
This one I definitely recommend for indoor use.
I've used it in different situations and rooms: Rehearsal room (~ 30m²) and in various live venues, from small to middle-sized. For the smaller rooms it was always quite good, but if you're going to use it for something bigger than, let's say 80m², you're probably going to need a thicker fluid. I would suggest you try out different intensities, and decide which one you would use on different occasions.
At the moment I am using a mixture of the E and C fluids, which suits the middle-sized venues quite fine.
The fluid also lasts for quite a while, something I wasn't expecting when I bought it.
I personally don't smell anything, as do the other people I'm rehearsing with except for one who somethings says he has to cough a lot due to the smoke.
The canister itself is solid and easy to pour out of.
