Top!

08.08.2016
I have been working with Native Instruments Komplete 10 Ultimate for half a year and have now added Omnisphere 2 from Spectrasonics. Both programs are often seen as competing products, which is only partly justified.

Omnisphere 2 brings all the sounds from the predecessors Atmosphere and Omnisphere 1 with and also those from Einzellibraries. So you can access about 12,000 sounds. Have fun! In any case, I have done this for hours and I am very impressed with the quality and the inspiration that the sounds offer. So far I have not found a single sound so stupid!

In contrast to Komplete 10 (these are individual instruments sold in a bundle), all sounds are to be handled, understood and processed in one and the same way. Each sound can also be played by means of a well thought-out arpeggiator, and for every sound, sensible variations for arpeggios are included. Complete 10 does not offer (no criticism, I love NI !!, its approach is just slightly different, are single products under partial the same surface, there are also drumcomputer etc.).

Omnisphere really offers a great sound quality and a super-made surface that opens up completely intuitively. For each individual sound (!), There are hints on how to use it, what the Pitch Bend knob effects, etc. The numerous effects I could not even tried at all sufficiently; Which I heard, sounded very good.

The musical application area is really very broad. Many sounds already have a lot of their own dynamics and associated layers, while others can be used selectively and in a narrow frequency range. If you are looking for great realistic pianos or great natural strings, then you are not so well cared for, but in that case you would deal with the acquisition of a specialized sound library. For pianos and strings, Komplete 10 is better placed from my point of view, but here too, if you really need it realistically, you will not pass an even more specialized library. In the case of atmospheric sounds, with x different synth sounds (borrowed from legendary synthesizers), electronic music, film and experimental music, hip-hop or "normal" pop music, Omnisphere 2 offers everything you need at the highest level.

If you are a sound tweaker who likes to make and synthesize a synthesizer virtually, who wants to make everything himself in the last screw, then you are wrong with Omnisphere. You can screw some, yes, but not everything. In that case, you should stick to NI and there to reactor and his relatives, of course, there are many other great companies who also offer corresponding products.

If you need fast, really good sounds, if you do not have the time and desire to search for the right sound for hours or create it, then you are right at Omnisphere 2.

It is quite difficult to talk about the sound characteristics of an instrument with such a range of sounds. I do it anyway:

Omnisphere 2 sounds like Mystery.

Omnisphere 2 does not sound like "I need 1000 sounds for my coverband, we play at the weekend at the Schützenfest".

Never again another plugin!

08.12.2016
There are 3 plugins in my opinion in any studio of a beat producer should be missing!

Nexus, contact, Omnisphere 2. - basic equipment!

Omnisphere is undisputedly number one! *****

For my perception by far the best sounds in a plugin what the market gives! The VSL stuff is probably also a number but I am in the area URBAN so all the synonymous make such a music, should at least times consider whether you take the coal in the hand and you buy this plugin is really worth it! Worth every penny.

Order, test and I will not be disappointed.
