Superb Product

This Glockespiel is a step up from the toy plastic ones by quite a way.

The highs really cut through and there is an abundance of rich harmonic content to be focused in on with mic placement. I recorded on my latest E.P. with this and did not have to EQ much. The sound is blanced and full. Compression was needed but not overly so.

It is a nicely made instrument with solid craftsmanship that will last a long time. The color cheme is pleasing.

The beaters are good. I would like to try some softer ones to glean some deeper bell like sounds from it but this can easily be arranged.

I am very happy with it and will continue to use it in future for recording and touring purposes.

D
handy little glock
Dominic7747 27.03.2015
this sonor ng30 sopran glockenspiel is a wonderous bit of kit, you get one and a half octaves including the sharpes/flats, two wooden hammers, all put together with a tidy little wooden body.
the tones are most excellent and slice thru the air and carry for a good five seconds after striking, the tones are presice and sound lovely. i could (and have) just sit here and play this for hours at a time it has such a nice musical tone and feel.
it is light weight so can be transported no problem and if the plates come free from the body they are easily placed back in the correct position as they only fit in their correct place.
really good, and would be good for music theory for children as it is all laid out in front of you.
a great purchace.

K
Sounds wonderful!
Kgar42 14.08.2017
Excellent sound off this little glock, and I do mean little, when purchasing this product I didn't check its dimensions and I was very surprised with its size.
Despite that, it has excellent resonance and clarity and is perfect for the studio or the stage.

Quite happy with this purchase

b
Ideal for young children

The quality and robustness of this glockenspiel makes it an ideal way to introduce children to both tonal music and percussion. It is in its own right a well built instrument that will serve an adult. Very nice.
