They sound good, but break very easily
Archion 17.05.2020
I have bought these headphones twice and I really wanted to like them. They sound really good and are not very uncomfortable to wear, although I occasionally suffered a bit of earpain when wearing them for many hours. However, there are reliability issues plaguing them. After about six months after buying the first pair, the right channel stopped working. Luckily this problem could be fixed. About 3 months after that the plastic just broke near the place where the earcup attaches to the rest of the system. So I bought the second pair hoping I was just unlucky. Nope, the first problem I described occured about 8 months after receiving and the second one about a year after that. I have 3 friends who all bought the same headphones and although theirs lasted much longer, these ultimately shared the same fate.

Great value for money
Anonymous 30.01.2016
I wanted to purchase some headphones that not only sound good but also have a reasonable price. I came across these headphones on this site and they had a huge amount of great reviews and and the price seemed reasonable. I have been very happy with them since I purchased them. The sound quality is really even and has great clarity all across the board from punchy lows to clear highs.

Compared to other more expensive headphones I have used these are much better. Having a detachable cable is also a nice feature because if that was to break its just a matter of replacing that one part instead of buying a whole new set of headphones.

Shure headphone review
Craig5708 04.05.2015
This is my second pair of these. First pair is still going although cosmetically a bit of a mess and the 3.5mm pin is prone to bending. Love the flat frequency response and sound of these headphones and for the price I think they are great. On my first pair the plastic sort of fake leather lining on the bar that goes over your head started to degenerate after a couple of years and I would get flecks of black plasticky stuff stuck in my hair after long sessions. Purely cosmetic. Nothing some gaffer wont fix. Wish the length of the cable was a bit longer. In a studio setting you will need an extension to get any decent amount of length. Sound still fine and no distortion after all that time.

Not an overall good pair of headphones.
Hannes944 19.07.2014
Let me start off with this review with what I find positive. They are very sturdy, Flimsy cables and plastic components are otherwise a nightmare on headphones but these feel like a pair that would last me a while. They are insanely sound proof, won't leak nor pick up noise outside the housing. Great for live recording.

Now to what's negative. I expected a flat true sound which it delivers but it simply lacks clarity in my opinion (or what you otherwise would expect from headphones at this price range). The comfort is awful, it fits nicely on your ears (I have quite small ears) but the arch(?) doesn't stay in place over your head, it kind of slides down on your forehead or the back of your head. The ear pads don't breath well, after about 30 minutes your ears will get sweltered. Not pleasant if you play/mix for long sessions.

I enjoy coiled cables but the one that's included is way too short to be practical (I might have to change to a longer one which I think is possible). I truly can't recommend anyone to buy these, Thomann has a lot of other great alternatives in the same price range.
