Top-notch bass comp!

I use it as an always on and subtle compressor. Using different styles of playing but don't want to adjust the knobs for any specific style. You really hear this one when it's off, it really helps my P-bass to pinch through in the mix with 2 heavy guitars.

The simple fact that you can blend in the original bass sound really keeps all your playing subtleties alive. You never have an overcompressed sound and still use A LOT of compression. Really cool. In my opinion currently the best analog bass compressor currently around.

Amazing, one of the best I got 2017 !

You can check for in depth review everywhere online, so Im giving my short take on it -
Easy to use (simple knobs and every movement gives you a noticeable difference in tone)
Great tone (pretty transparent, doesn't color your original tone much)
Great features (Blend knob - lets you compress the signal really hard and then blend in desired amount of uncompressed signal. As well 3 options to choose what is blended)
Really great and easy to use - can be appreciated by a beginner trying out his/hers first compressor, but as well has enough "details" for pro o use on stage or studio.

Great compressor, only issue I have is that there is no rubber padding or anything on the bottom, so it can slip easily

L
Top class compressor

I researched many compressor pedals before I came across the Studio Bass Compressor. What I like about this compressor is the parallel compression achieved by the Blend control. Not only that but you can tailor the response of the blend by selecting full frequency, mid frequency or bass frequency. Very transparent compression that adds punch to the attack of your instrument. Very happy with this compressor.
